  1. time for a goup buy on new fridges
  2. stalagtites grow from the Top down, stalagmites grow from the bottoM up
  3. you DO know the difference between stalagtite and stalagmite don't you?
  4. double tap on the upside this appears to count as a post too. Nothing like being a post whore. Heck nothing like being a whore for that matter.
  5. I have a stalagtite in my glass currectly.
  6. hold his head under for a minute, he will come around. Just kidding as you well know.

in all seriousness be sure to check out compact models. The full size service models are not so easy to conceal in warm weather, where a smaller grip would be. Just some food for thought.
  8. aside from the gun reasons to not live there, it gets cold as all heck there and snows a lot. No reason to even consider living there. Kind of ironic how the breadbasket of freedom is not so much that anymore.

I am not stirring the doo doo. I am entertaining myself. I have a 1911 and it goes bang everytime. I just see it as more of a toy. Really to me it is a no brainer. Carry the 1911 or carry the XD. Simple choice. But heck thats the fun of guns, pick what you like. They make lots. Wholeheartedly agree, tonight it is a Mosin Nagant with the bayonet extended. Actually for zombies I prefer the M1 Carbine. But that is a topic for another subforum.
  10. newbie, ours does that too, it is meaningless. When you need ice most the icemaker knows this and acts accordingly. Which of course means it does not work. Our motor grinds too, then it does not grind and works fine. But what the heck, I have to sop water out from under the veggie drawers twice a week, the icemaker is tempermental ( while I am totally mental) But it still keeps food mostly cold. I am good to go. Is your little metal wire thingy down? I know it is obvious, but ya never know without axin' the question. My wife axes me all the time if I have seen her glasses when they are on top of her head. Maybe we can do a group buy on a new icebox

the average person will never need a gun period, ever. My comment is tongue in cheek. but I will take the xd45 over a 1911 everyday of the week. Extra clip gives me 27 rounds total with one in the tube. Zombies dude, don't ever let the guard down.
  12. repairclinic.com will probably have a replacement unit for your fridge. Our icemaker works when it wants to. It now has a couple of drips that form stalagtites down into the ice tray. Sometimes it makes hollow ice, sometimes it makes no ice, sometimes the tray makes icebergs. And yes sometimes it works like it was brand new. Fixing the oven was a heck of a lot easier. My advice as a doctor is to tell you to drink heavily. That and buy a bag of ice on your way back from the liquor store.

if you only need to shoot 7 bad guys you are good to go. Everyone needs a high capacity service pistol
  14. since football season is now officially over for me, I am enjoying a big glass of canadian whisky, watching some survival show on History Channel and playing with a Mosin Nagant.
  15. well even if what you just posted is true 90% of US business has not moved to China. and China has guns, they just do not trust people like you and me with them.
  16. The stuff goes bang just fine, but it does not go where it is aimed.

A 1911 is fine if you only have 7 zombies coming at you. I will take the XD 45 first if I need to defend with a handgun. I can get twice as many zombies before changing clips.
  18. I am at an age where not much scares me, let them come.
  19. Cut them off buy not purchasing their goods. Don't repay the interest on the debt and get ready for WW3
  20. are you making these facts up? Where you getting this from? 90% of US businesses have not moved to China.
  21. I have a single shot Savage in .22 and love to shoot it. Something about loading each round by hand is very calming. Looks like a nice rifle. Congrat's!

    Clips

So if you have one in your pocket no one will ask you if you are happy to see them

    Clips

You order from Cabelas and I can virtually guarentee you get one clip, then you get a magazine once a month for the rest of time.

    Sigma .40

People generally complain about the trigger on the Sigma. The pull is a little stout. I used to have one in 9mm, the trigger smoothed out after about 500 rounds. Or I just got used to it, dunno. Not a bad pistol for the price.

    can't ever have enough clips
