  1. what is wrong with your stock?
  2. oh crap you are right, guess I will just keep it
  3. the Lee Loader specifically mentions that there is no crimp on rounds made using that loader. I never had any setback trouble, guess I was just lucky??? I loaded 1000 rounds using LSWC bullets and never had any trouble from them. Dunno. Sounds like a double charge to me.
  4. I am going to sell my rifle for 400 bucks at the next gun show
  5. I did not make the 130 dollar quote but I have seen them at the least several gunshows from 100 to 150. Just got to look around, they are out there. Even if they dry up altogether I am not dropping 250 bucks on one. They are not that nice of a firearm.
  6. If you can't take a class on it this will work. http://www.coolgunsite.com/disassembly/disassembly.htm
  7. Who is C&D Firearms? And why do they think so highly of their M44's? I mean they are getting harder to find but it is not that bad yet.
  8. the next kid on halloween coming to my door with a unicef bucket gets a kick in the nuts
  9. you brought up the Archangel and were called out on it. Yeah explain in depth. Stevens? Seriously? The bottom of the line Savage rifle is not any better than a 10-22. I have several .22 rifles. All of them offer about the same accuracy, all of them are particular about what ammo works best in them. Near as I can tell none of them are better or worse than a 10-22, just different. And you still have not backed up your comment about a .22 not being useful.
  10. I have seen several 10-22's. All of them seem to function as well as any other semi auto rifle. Use the stock magazine and they work fine near as I can tell. As for a .22 being useful, are you kidding me? Great for plinking. I can shoot cans, paper targets, spinners. You name the target and I can shoot it all day long for under 20 bucks. Can't do that with center fire. I do not hunt but I am guessing they are as good as it gets for squirrel or rabbit. Great for training. Learn proper breathing, sighting and trigger control while shooting without spending a fortune on ammo. Teach and get youngsters involved in shooting with weapons that are not extremely noisy, full of recoil and prohibitive to small statures. A .22 rifle is mandatory for any arms collection. Heck I thank you for that post, You have set my mind to picking out another one. yep probably going to be a 10-22. Why does a rifle have to be tactical? And I am still waiting to find out why an Archangel stock is so good.
  11. You may have a problem when you must justify your posts in a thread about ammo addicts Dude, you seriously have ammo issues , You can't possibly ever shoot all that stuff. I have a lifetime supply of it and you have like 5X more than me. ( wanna sell some?)
  12. I am guessing last session was year of the gun, this year the thing is DOA
  13. That is flat out harsh and over the top. Maybe no butter on the popcorn at Avatar but don't cut a guy off from pudding.
  14. I am thinking it might be a fake. The dude ( oops there is me using a young word again) totally turned his face away when he pulls the trigger. if it is not a fake he is a dumbass. But it's all good.
  15. don't tease a brother, never ever had a sticky before. be still my fluttering heart.
  16. I would not turn off an old fridge, did that once to clean iit up and the compressor decided to not turn back on. when you go to change the pump and tubing a golf tee might come in handy to stick in an end if it keeps squirting water.

  18. I don't mind Strecelvina struggling with English. I understand it is not his first language. He is getting his thoughts across.
  19. so we are back to OC being allowed in a national park in TN. Is North Carolina an OC state? I don't generally OC , but would hate to get busted because I was simply printing or inadvertantly exposed a holster or something.
  20. oooh BURN!
  21. at one point I replaced the pump and all the water lines. Be careful if you do this to not cause a leak that may go un-noticed for a while. Don't ask how I know this. At any rate the original water lines were brittle and clogged. Changing it all out helped, but the thing has always had issues. One day I will break down and buy a new one. I do not think the water would evaporate. Change the pump and look hard at the lines.
  22. can you stick a finger into the ice maker tray and feel any water or ice there?
  23. you ever wonder who that poor kid is and if he knows about that picture?
  24. i hope that is the case. It will at least give some pause to the OCing guy who shall not be named by me. I would have been waiting to read about another romp in the woods with an AK pistol by the end of next month.
  25. and am I understanding correctly that OC would also be legal if state law allows OC on main street?
