  1. since the thread topic is "favorite" ( singular ) I will go with The Longest Day. The Longest Day (1962) IMDb Video: The Longest Day
  2. I just got a live report from the gunshow. The place is full of vendors just like any other show but lacking on people attending the show. Guess most are like me, not venturing out onto the streets just yet.
  3. The old timers at Curnayn's Tavern out on the west side of Cincinnati used to put pepper in their glass before pouring beer in it. It keeps a head going, and you don't taste it like you do with salt
  4. trying to get a piece of crushed red pepper out from between my teeth by sucking at it and rinsing with beer

    Im Drunk

can't believe this thread has not popped up yet tonight. I am working on some Little Kings ( have some icing down outside)and some other stuff too.
  6. just tried to start one of the quads, got it on a battery charger now. I am going to do some donuts before the night is over.
  7. I second that. The year of the winter is the year it starts in, even though it is about 10 days of the year.
  8. that's right! This is a Waltons only thread, don't be stepping on it yall Anyone else think Erin was kind of hot during the war years?
  9. not doing much here, some dust on the ground. News Sentinel headline now calls for a possible 15 inches
  10. stooped tooday already to get milk. Did my part for the economy. Also picked up a weekends worth of smokes and diet Pepsi. Plenty of alcohol on hand always. I can say that we could go a month on food, the old lady is a pack rat and the freeezer is stuffed. Plenty of propane and charcoal. If that fails I got wood.
  11. if we get what I just saw predicted it could be the perfect storm. Going to depend on temperature. One degree one way or the other could be the difference between snow, rain or ice. If it is snow it might be a lot for here.
  12. If I had doubts I would call it off.
  13. a load of snow on Friday night would be perfect. I will believe it when I see it.
  14. damn the wolf
  15. Just saw a commercial for the DVD release of " The Waltons". or whatever it is called. It is 6 Walton movies. I love that show, I want the DVD.
  16. had a snow shovel back in the early nineties when we lived in north Illinois. When we packed up the truck to move I left it leaning in the garage for the new resident. Weather service out of Morristown last said 5 to 9 inches in the valley. I hope it is 10. I have a coal shovel now, it works good enough for snow. Plenty of adult beverages on hand if I choose to go that route.
  17. open carry only when wearing the CCW badge on a chain around my neck
  18. dang I must have gotten screwed, it was only about 5 bucks in my check, and I went to payroll and changed my deduction to make up for that. 60 or 80? thats a lot of money.
  19. poison them in the house, trap them out of the house ( if gunfire is not an option)
  20. traps. Then either kill the squirrel or release them somewhere else. The woods here are lousy with the things, bumper crop of nuts this year. We have been lucky, never had squirrels attack the cars. Had a rat under the hood of my wifes old car once, I popped the hood and the thing was sitting right on top. Scared the crap ouit of me. I started the car and went down the driveway and around the block, I guess he jumped off. Yep traps might be your best option
  21. that's awesome, thanks Mark.
  22. The Saints will lose because I hope they win.
  23. didn't Patton carry a revolver? I know you would pay that much for a revolver.
  24. yep Wings Hauser, thats the guys name. Could not think of it
  25. I vaguely remember this as one of the worst ever movies made.
