  1. everyone goes to Walmart because it is not posted. It is a very casual way to pop your "carry" cherry.
  2. I have never seen a "no guns" sign at a Walmart
  3. an internet classic
  4. I wanna know why I have not heard the Walmart story, and why I am not on the invite list for eating at the usual place?
  5. did'ja cry when Boy came hobling into the church?
  6. there you have it. IMHO anyway. A certain political party wants Union workers, because he can buy their votes. Toyota does not play ball with the UAW and this is what happens.
  7. Are their plants Union?
  8. I second the motion for a better tire shop. I have used NTB for years, here and in Fla. Can't you just use an inner-tube with some duct tape?
  9. have I missed it in this thread? How many Toyota's have had their accelerator pedals stick open? Are we talking 10? 100? 2500? 25,000? 500,000? Is this thing overblown?

    Good cops?!

I have only been stopped maybe 5 times in my driving life. One time it was near three in the morning, I worked at a bar during college and was on my way home. I came to a four way stop near my house and did not stop all the way. As luck would have it a cop pulled up right when I did not stop completely. He lit me up and pulled me over. He told me I did not stop all the way. I said I sort of stopped, and asked if it would be okay if I stopped twice at the next stop sign to make up for it. He told me to not be a smart ass and to go on home. ( I was about 1/2 mile from home) No ticket. Got pulled over speeding in Florida on the turnpike. I was going to Daytona. Cop got me with radar as I crested an overpass. He comes up to the car and asks if I know why I was pulled over. I told him I was practicing my qualifying run and was headed to Daytona for race weekend. He saw no humor in my comment and wrote me up.
  11. just stripped it again, not too hard. Practice makes perfect.
  12. I knocked one over once, pretty much the way you describe. Made a mess and stunk. I stick to safer dispensors now.
  13. maybe I read it wrong, but you do know that 1 and 3/8 is smaller than 1.5 right
  14. Not much to say really. All that was predicted was true. Pain in the ass to re-assemble. You have to insert and remove the magazine a couple of times and pull the trigger to be able to properly align parts. Not much was gained by stripping it. It did not take a couple of minutes to take it apart, and it should not take more than a couple to re-assemble. It took me about three tries of stripping and re-assembling to get it back together without a struggle. The first time was impossible without aid. So I watched the Ruger video and also looked at a instructions. The magazine thing is annoying, but I think I have it figured out. I am going to do it again tonight and see if I remember. Should not take five minutes total.
  15. I am looking forward to it. Especially if I can do it without referencing the internet.
  16. thats true
  17. It looks like the vote is a runaway in the direction of stripping. I am confident I can do it and re-assemble in three cuss words or less. I will try to do it tonight and post it up.
  18. under, it annoys the wife
  19. I will hold off until tomorrow night to give the poll time to run its course. Something just does not seem right about not stripping a gun after using it. Dunno. But if it does not matter....
  20. cheesburger with onions, pickles and tarter sauce, fries on the side
  21. depends on what the gun looks like
  22. So my Ruger Mklll 22-45 has enough rounds through it to warrant a detail strip. I am guessing it may benefit from a deep cleaning and lubing. So is it worth the trouble I hear it is, or just as well to clean what I can reach, lube what I can reach and leave it be.
  23. is that a wolf on the bottom center?
  24. why you wanna go and shoot SUNTZU?
