  1. I have never shot a gun that did not hve some recoil. The 995 has recoil but I don't think the springs on the butt of the carbine do much to absorb it. I do not recall much differnence in recoil between the classic 995 and the TS995
  2. took advantage of the decent weather Saturday and tried to get all the stuff that uses gasoline out of the garage and running. Got it all going no problem except for the Polaris 325 Trail Boss. Granted the battery is hopelessly dead, but trying to jump it off the battery charger was FAIL. The motor cranks all day long but will not fire. I had it running a month or so ago, it is always hard to start after sitting for months but it has always fired given a litle time and cranking. I pulled the spark plug and cleaned it up even though it did not look nasty or anything. Will spraying starter fluid into the intake help get it to draw gas? Or is that a waste of time? Any ideas?

  4. the ranges all seem to be crowded anymore
  5. I always liked it when they beamed down to somewhere and there would be "extra's" on the crew beaming down. You knew they weren't coming back.
  6. paper plates are great, takes a magic marker and draw stuff on them to aim at. I like Shoot-n-See for 22's.
  7. the show was great in its day. You have to keep in mind the time it was made. The hand held tool McCoy used to check patients out with was a salt shaker.
  8. I thought it was Jerry Garcia
  9. I am sure this thing has been tweaked, the stock certainly was not factory. I was just shooting bulk ammo too. I would not hesitate to get one.
  10. I am not actually here, someone shopped me into the picture
  11. I think he is good to go now. Also congrats to SUNTZU for his joining of the club and OS will be there within 2 minutes of his next log in, lOL
  12. I always thought the 10-22 was average at best. BUt shot OS's the other day and his rifle is a tack driver. I was totally impressed. it is on my wish list now.
  13. grrrr double tap
  14. since you ask, paragraphs and punctuation would help
  15. I am guessing you dangle it in the pants, not outside of it. Which would bring the inevitable question of "is that a .22 in your pants or are you just happy to see me?"
  16. official congrat's
