the rollmarks (?) in the second pic look way to crisp and perfect to be something that old. The stock also looks like something that is not old. Let us know if you find any dates or proofmarks hidden away.

wow! Helluva a way to start the day. I am glad it ended alright for your dog and yourself. Is there any bounty on these things in your area? i do not live on a farm but do live in the woods and hear coyotes all the time. They have been on my front porch and drink out of the wifes fountains and garden pond. I never go out at night here without a firearm. I am sort of suprised they did not run off with the first gun shot. Must have had their dander up in a big way.

Is there not an outdoor place to shoot in the Memphis area? While obviously I am not from your area I can offer a tip or two in getting these shoots rolling. Key is the place to shoot. Second, pick your date and then stand fast on it. Don't waffle when someone says they can't make it this day or that day. You can't please everyone with the date you choose. People who really want to attend will adjust their schedule if at all possible. Good luck with it. These things are a lot of fun and a great way to meet like minded individuals.

I don't doubt that it happened, hard to doubt broken windows and taped phone messages. Now even though there is no doubt it happened, to me there is plenty of doubt as to who is behind it all. I certainly do not put it past the media or the Dem's themselves to have done these things.
