maybe it is a gay oasis ;) So far we really only know about three people there. Aaron, Eric and the really good doctor that was mentioned. IIRC that is the only specifics he gave to the group.

here we go again. Knox schools out. It will take a week to get them kids minds right again. about two inches of fresh white death

fake guns, smart.

it will be nice to have you back Erik if it ever happens.

I just got in, on the way home I drove the kids bus route through the 'hood across the road. Someone ran a plow over a few spots, but there are cars parked in a manner that is not going to allow their bus to pass. Maybe those cars will be gone by the time the one hour delay happens. And there is a lot of drippage frozen and will surely cause the bus issues. And we are supposed to get more snow tonight. Maybe not much but who knows. I am so ready for spring, or 8 inches of snow.

the big melt yesterday was a big fail. Our street is still rutted and has lots of now refrozen slush. Driveway looks like an amusement park Turnpike ride. Two 1/4 mile ruts. Not sure we are going to get much of a melt off this week. Right about freezing is the high for the week. I think I am going to go visit Erik.

if I was going to add another .22 to the collection that Chiappa would be one I'd look at real hard. But the situation with amo has kind of taken the shine off of .22's for me.

I about fell out laughing when they kissed. Mostly laughing wondering who would lose their mind here first. I hope it turns out they are married. At least being gay explains the fashion sense and cleanliness. Pretty good episode. Why didn't Glenn turn on the wipers?

i think there were three that year, one eye passed over us but that hurricane came from the west so it was not too horrible. I remember moving stuff on our privacy fenced patio from one side to the other to be ready for when the wind came from the other direction as the eye went by. I like Forida fine, but we decided it was better for vacationing than year round living. I actually preferred summer there over winter. I do miss the seafood. Whales Rib on A1A in Deerfield Beach FTW

there was one year while we lived in Boca that a hurricane was predicted to hit Boca head on. Everyone near the intracoastal and beach evacuated and went to Orlando. The hurricane veered off path and ended up going right over Orlando. We had sunny weather and no rain or wind at all.

a big melt is on. 46 degrees here now. Shoveled most of the slop off the deck and steps. Driveway is a wreck waiting to happen. Not much I can do about a 1/4 mile of gravel. Basically pick two ruts and stay in them. Gun it like hell to get out on the street, well for the warden anyway. 4x4 is a big plus.

meh, been there done that. Lived in South Florida for 8 years. I will take the seasons and all that comes with. If it is so great why are you trying so hard to come back?

hopefully someone can stop them. Teenagers don't deserve a lifetime of agony and mistreatment because they are, well teenagers.

between snow, sleet and freezing rain we have about four inches on the ground and it is still coming down at a fairly good pace.

how are you lubing the rails? Grease what slides back and forth, oil what pivots. I have a RIA GI model and it runs with any magazine. I had issues until I learned to properly lube it.

along with peeing, poohing, sleeping, crying, and eating, getting sick is what they do. Beautiful little thing she is, Thank the lord she does not look like Dolomite. ;) Worry as I know you will but she will be fine. Proud for you guys!!

white death is coming down hard. Interstate on the way home from work tonight was sort of bad. Hammer lane had stuff sticking to it. Of course there was some yahoo doing 25 mph, yes 25 mph on it. I mean it was not awesome driving conditions but 50 to 60 was safe to run at. That jerk was causing people to hit their brakes hard as they came up on him. Had a trial of cars following. Dude should have stuck to surface streets if he is that scared to drive. Hopefully it will be raining by the time I need to leave for work tomorrow.

I just hope to survive until sunday when it is going to warm up a touch and rain all day. 4 degrees here this morning, record low. More crap on the way tonight.

not too much worse than tooth trouble. I feel your pain. Several years ago I took the 91/30 out for some action. On the way home I felt a pain in my jaw. Overnight it got way worse. Called Dr. Szell the next day. Seems I broke a tooth from recoil and cheek weld. Shooting that afternoon ended up costing me about $1500 buck out of pocket with insurance.
