It is good for people that your story is out there. Any of us could be denied or delayed on our next purchase. Your experience would stop me from ever setting foot in the place. Also this another reason to do gun purchases on a credit card. If you disputed the charges with your bank you would get your charge reversed most likely.

yep, does not sound like an 8 hour class. Those deals always make me wonder what they are leaving out. My class lasted near 10 hours.

cable lock is a good idea. I have one in the truck for when i unexpectedly have to leave a handgun in the truck for other than very brief periods. Loops the cable on the seat frame then through the frame of the gun. I am not so sure most smash and grab types carry bolt cutters with them.

+1 for the sheriff's office. I am not sure if the wait is too bad anymore. I drive past their facility and have noticed when they do a HCP course the number of cars in the lot has decreased. But they are very thorough and you get the LEO perspective of what to do in traffic stops and other situations. And as well it will be the only chance most of us ever have to use the KCSO indoor shooting range. That place is freaking immaculate.

that is not exactly true. In Knoxville one of our drivers was in the intersection, entered it under green, traffic stopped. The truck was in the intersection at a dead stop when the light went yellow then red. We got a ticket in the mail. I was a passenger when it happened so I know this story is true. Since they simply mail the ticket, I suppose in Eddie's scenario of non payment one could claim the ticket never arrived. We have all not received mail before. From time to time I get other people's mail in my box.

when I was in AZ in 2009 we were returning from Tombstone and were stopped at a immigration checkpoint, My son and I were required to state our city of residence and where we were born. So there was no profiling going on. Watched the local news last night, they had a local cop on explaining how local LEO cannot arrest an illegal immigrant. They have to call for an immigration guy to come and do it. How F'd up is that? Our local law enforcers cannot uphold certain laws. I wish every state had AZ's new laws.

i thought that was common knowledge. You buy it and own it but it is for postal us only.
