  1. no accounting for knock offs or forgeries. I have a U mag, it is blued and works fine. And just enough rust to be USGI, LOL I have an Inland mag that looks like it was fished out of the English Channel last year. I spray painted it with some Krylon, it works great too.
  2. The Emoticon Nazi is lower than Grammar Nazi. BK should have used the . Clearly it is more appropriate. And back OT, re-enactments are cool. I would love to see one with large Armies.
  3. S & B I have used their ammo, .45, .38 Special Wadcutter, 30 Carbine. It all seems to work fine. I have yet to see clean ammo. It's all dirty.
  4. The offer is out there bud
  5. bunch of perverts
  6. I have had split cases on every kind of surplus Mosin ammo. Except for the Yugo stuff that is brass cased. the worst was some Hungarian stuff I had. Lots of split cases in it. I had one casing come apart in the chamber. I had to buy a broken shell extractor get it out.
  7. A mag marked with a U is for Union Hardware. It would be a GI mag and should not be the cause of your problems. Don't go polishing stuff on the weapon. if I had your rifle in my hands and compared it to mine we could probably figure it out. My first thought would be to check out how you have it lubed. At any rate I bet it is fairly simple to fix or figure out. I would be willing to meet with you Friday afternoon or Saturday to try to get it sorted out.
  8. what am I missing here Jack?
  9. I have not wet a line since living in TN. Dunno the first place to fish around here. When I lived in Boca I fished in the Everglades about once a week, and in the canals by our condo all the time. I prefered a bait casting reel,no brand preference. No preference on the pole, fairly light strength line and small hooks. Rubber worms (purple with glitter, can't recall the name of them) worked great. Fished using a Carolina rig. Seemed to work best when the sinker hit the bottom and the worm floated above. The sinker seems to help get the attention of the fish. Never caught or saw Peacocks, they were further south. But plenty of large mouth around.
  10. just none of the ones I am in
  11. learn something everyday
  12. actually Mary Ann would be the 1911, she was more old school and down to earth. Ginger was new and flashy, definitely the XD, Lovey would have been a rock.

  18. I will defer to your marksmanship, if you don't shoot it straight the rifle is crooked
  19. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that Garufa and myself are the official TGO inspectors of all milsurp weapons being shot at Norris. So bring extra ammo for us.
  20. or what? what is going to happen? I do not believe for a minute if I put a Tapco stock on one of my Yugo's that all the sudden I am off to jail.
  21. I dunno about that but it sure is a waste of a damn fine truck.
  22. When I lived in Fla I kept my tackle in the tool box of the truck. Them dang worms would melt and just be a sticky mess. I did find though, that if I could get them apart and onto a hook that they worked better than brand new ones. I knocked my whole tacklebox off the truck tailgate and right into the creek one time, that fairly well sucked.
  23. I only shot ultramax one time around. It was very dirty, I mean very dirty. I would just as soon not shoot as use it.
  24. thats kind of what I though. My C&R stuff is orginal so I have no worries there.
