a lot of things have changed in the last 100 odd years, some of it for the better.

You might not lose much sleep but you may lose a pocket full of money. Back when I was bagged for a (false) gun charge I got an attorney who gave me a friends and family discount and it still cost me 2500 beans. If I had no connection to the lawyer I would have been sacked for 5000 dollars to have it handled. maybe you all are rich, seems a lot of people here are, but 5K is a assload of cash to me.

no reason at all to shoot a snake in TN. My mother in law is 76 and uses a cane. She happened across a copper head last week right outside her trailer. It hit at her cane, she did not freak out or anything. The snake went its way and she went hers. No death was involved. Unless the snake is very aggressive leave it the heck alone. they do way more good than harm,. If you have to shoot to kill make sure it is something you cannot work around.

I saw this too. The guy on camera dropped a round into the tube through the slide, released the slide onto the round, then inserted a mag into the pistol.

they did a bit about this law on the local news tonight. It included a statement from JJ Jones, Knox County Sheriff. I do not have it word for word but basically he said that the KCSO teaches a permit course monthly and he supports the right of people with a HCP to carry everywhere where legal.
