not really, I have hard copies as permanant records, the pc thing is just for convenience when I want to ogle my collection without pulling them out of what they are stored in. And I have never owned a PC that did not crash and burn at some point.

FTF guns are also handwritten on a 8.5x11 sheet of paper and added to my hard record. This program for your PC works great, you can even add pics of you guns to it. heck even my wife acknowledges that the security system commercials are ridiculous. The bad guy knows he has plenty of time to do what he wants before the cops will ever show up. All the alarm is good for is a heads up that someone has breeched a doorway or window, giving me a few seconds to wake up and react. Which is better than waking up with the guy standing next to my bed.
