Put on big boy pants and go do your job. I doubt they are you going to ask you to hold guts out of the way. I never understood squeamishness.

Getting Tailed, what to do

The thing to remember is the "almost" part. Nothing happened. Call it a win. Glad to read you did not take criticism personally. I used to be a hothead behind the wheel, age is the great mellower. :) Biggest lesson to learn here is never ever flip someone off. Nothing good has ever come from that. -
have they ever shown or mentioned disposing of the deader walkers? Sasha plugged a bunch of them, who is carting them off? Maybe the Wolves are part of Alexandria? How is Deanna in charge? Stuff does not add up. Why would anyone follow her? Daryl would just as soon stay outside the walls. Michone needs to remember how to.
-
agree that Deanna is done with Rick's group. I still want to hear theory on how Rick gets voted off the island. Who is enforcing that? Who is laying down for it? What about his kids? C'mon dish! Even though I believe Rick to be morally wrong in his moves towards the married woman, it is a different time and place than "our" world today. Life is short, take what you can is how he thinks. Seems that way to me anyway. I hope we do not lose Rick, Carol, Daryl, Glenn or Maggie next week. I kind of like Eugene too. Carl needs to be a walker.

I would guess you brought this totally on yourself. Did you honking your horn stop him from hitting you or was it you calling attention to it? And you flipping someone off is just plain stupid. You don't know who he is. He might be the baddest ass in the world who takes crap from no one. Reads to me that you started a pissing match. Probably a good thing you were not carrying. -
I don't know how the mayor of Alexandria votes Rick out. I really do not see any of the original group telling Rick he has to leave. NO way. And if Rick would somehow get kicked out what of Carl and Judith? Carl is not going to stay and Rick is not leaving the baby.

The Four Horseman sounds like the old story of just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

yeah it has to do with the wooden super structure or whatever they call it. There is a movement afoot in Cincinnati to bring it back home where it belongs.

I'd love to have a Henry .22 with the octo barrel. I have a H001 and it is so much fun to shoot. Accurate as any rifle i have.

Schwartzhog. It is a Jaegermeister style knock off. Nasty stuff. Worst hangover ever was Ouzo.

My first Mosin-Nagant Model 1944
Mike.357 replied to Richard995's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
recoil on the M44 is worse than a 91-30. The nancy pad has two good uses. One the obvious, offering some cushion on recoil. The other the added length of reach for the trigger. The inch and a half or however deep it is definitely is an added benefit. -
i have not changed a radiator in many moons but I think if I had to I'd go OEM on it. Aftermarket is okay for some stuff.

I wondered if they would sell Moonshine until they get some of it aged.

birthdays beat the other option.

oh yeah, forgot this. Clearly 1911's are top shelf and Glocks are generic plastic fantastic pistolas.

LOL, thanks for the kind words NP. There are several bourbons I know of that aren't distilled in KY. Two of them specifically are Chattanooga and Belle Meade. We get asked for them frequently and those people to a man thought they were from TN. They are distilled in Lawrenceburg IN. Not that in itself makes them bad. Just they are not as the label suggests. Read the fine print on the backside and they say they are distilled in Lawrenceburg. L'burg is more famous for a dirt racecar track than bourbon. Chattanooga Whisky is working towards distilling in Hamilton County, I am not sure where they are with that, And certainly they are not bad spirits because they come from north of the Ohio River. What I do have concern for is the taste of these whiskeys. Many distilleries are where they are because of their water source. When Chattanooga and Belle Meade start their thing in their respective locations they will not have the same water source as they have in Lawrenceburg IN. I think it will affect flavor. The Ohio River is not flowing through TN. As an aside search out US Army activity in KY during the Civil War. Basically their battle plan for dealing with rebels was going from distillery to distillery in KY. They did not care about freeing slaves or stopping an insurrectionist army but rather stealing whisky. The whisky trail was the same trail the Union army followed. Be leary of bourbons from Bardstown KY too. Not that they are bad but these boutiquey distilleries are most likely part of the Evan Williams family of bourbons. They come, they develop a following and then they go. A lot if it is Evan Williams whiskeys in a different bottle with a different label. As an example, I used to work for distributor that sold " Old Bardstown" It was 101 proof bourbon. Good stuff, really it was. We also sold a brand called "Johnny Drum" 101 proof bourbon. Old Bardstown was the name of a race horse. Johnny Drum was the name of a drummer in the CSA army. Both of these had a backstories on their name. Both whiskys came from Bardstown, AKA Heaven Hill, AKA Bardstown KY. Both whiskeys were exactly the same spirit. I mean it was the same, just had different labels on the bottle. So beware of labeling. Good bourbon if you ever see it. I seriously doubt either are in the market any longer. Not that it matters. Anyway that is your bourbon history lesson for tonight.

curious too, how many of you are aware that Jefferson's buys their spirits from distilleries and blends it themselves? They do not distill.
-
if you collect Blanton stoppers be aware that the "N" comes in two varieties. I am amazed at the number of collector customers tell me they have both, But when I question them about it they are clueless that there are two different N stoppers.

wow!! I saw them when we lived near Chicago one year. Was cold as a well diggers as..... errr... butt. I sat in a parking at a softball complex and stared at the sky for two hours freezing my buns off. Absolutely incredible. Green, pink and purple. Probably the coolest natural phenomenon I have ever seen. I will be searching the northern sky in about an hour to see if I can see them. Sky is very clear now, stars look amazing tonight too. So it is a no way to lose proposition.

i use closed captions on just about everything I watch on TV. It is really helpful. You get way less of those "what did they say" moments.

looks like greater Cleveland. oof. It gets cold there.
