  1. 10 pm is pretty much too late for me. I will have to catch it on rebroadcasts. And having seen for years how History Channel operates that should not be much of a problem.
  2. I have not owned a single shot BP pistol but 45 grains sounds like a lot. I use between 18 and 30 in .44 cal revolvers. I do not have any load chart. It would seem to me that you should start very low and work you way up until you get accuracy. Anything past that is just more noise and smoke.
  3. voting that party line seems to work real well. How about if I turn in a blank ballot? Can I bitch then?
  4. I found bending the front pin to be easy. Kind of scary considering if it broke it might be hard to find another. The guy who made sight tools does not make them anymore. No thread jack here either. It is for anything Mosin Nagant. PS: to aj, I have not forgot about your ammo pouch and stuff inside it.
  5. sounds like a computer glitch on the auto dialer. Not worth getting worked up over. I do not think they are singling you out on purpose.
  6. might be arguable on the problem with that now. But what bothers me is very discreet signage like the OP describes.
  7. I would like to read the reasoning behind this comment
  8. so i snuck up to norris just a while ago. I was hopeful with the threat of rain and some drizzle that it would be empty and I was right. No one was there at all. I took the 91/30 and the bayonet along with about 100 rounds total of three different kind of ammo. Set up some targets at 125 yards then took a few shots. Everything was pretty much high and left. Put the bayonet on and it seemed to lower the shots and move them a little towards center. I then got the bright idea of trying to bend the front sight just a hair. Man that was the ticket. It pulled my shots right back to center and I could use the elevation on the rear sight to bring the shots up to center. It did not matter what ammo I used, they all grouped about the same and had about the same point of impact. I am happy with it now and am not going to fool with the front sight anymore. I probably got more accomplished in 45 to 60 minutes I was there than when there are other shooters and we are up there all day long. i don't like shooting alone for the most part but it was enjoyable today.
  9. I would not know where to start or stop with a list such as this

did a little looking at Pujols. I am guessing he will be a HOFer. but he is not booting Tony Perez off of first base or out of that batting order.
  11. actually the CCW badge is SUNTU's but he lets me borrow it when I want to impress the ladies. Other than that I clip my HCP on my pocket protector.
  12. I don't care if anyone sees it. I think the CCW badge hanging around my neck takes all the suspense out of it anyway.
  13. I cannot see a scenario that would cause me to sell my Ruger SP101 .357 mag or my Beretta Model 70. All the rest have a price.
  14. Also found some bikini bottoms floating around one day, but sadly enough never saw the girl who lost them, LOL
  15. I was going to ask, but after reading this I am going to go ahead and say , " I think you finally hit it"
  16. and turn that G-D noise down, I can't believe you call that music

    what position does Pujols play?
  18. that would have been Red Reef. Boca South Beach is the next one south going down A1A And I remember seeing jelly fish wash up all the time. Best thing I found washed up was a cooler with about ten beers still in it.
  19. the latest batch of DDG we got in a couple of weeks ago is no longer in the Pepto Bismo colored bottle. It looks a little more traditional
  20. I was a little further west than that, kind of close to yamato and 441 Boca South Beach was great, and Red Reef was pretty nice too. Better looking hotties at Red Reef, more peace at South Beach

I am not so sure Pujols could have cracked the lineup on the Big Red Machine. ( not that I really know who he is, but still if he was that good I would have heard of him)
  22. Dead Guy is one of our beers herein East TN. I knocked back a twlever of Coor's Light thanks to Garufa. ( thanks buddy!)
  23. exactly, I am not putting much faith in this. Got it in an email last week
  24. I lived in Boca for about 7 years. Beach front hotels had kerosene available for getting tar off of your feet when you came back from the beach.
  25. the mini fridge is fairly full of Stoners, they are calling my name. But darn it is still a little early to start playing that game.
