look for cabin rentals in the area you are going to be around. They are really not higher dollar than some hotels. They can easily be found by doing a google search. If you are still uncertain about the vacation destination the Great Smoky Mtns is apretty good place to go.

based on your route I would leave the guns at home and take situational awareness with you. Sometimes you just gotta live life. It does not always have to be about having guns.

Anyone here ever been to this? How safe is it? Can you set up as campsight and not get all your stuff pilfered while you are off watching performers? How plentiful is ice? Do you need to pack in all your food and drink or is it available there for a reasonable price? I would love to go to one of these things before i am totally toooooo old to do it.

there is a lot in this piece that does not set right. TN has no CCW permit, there is no legal distance to shoot someone. Sounds like the permit holder needs a good attorney. And if you want to tell a story about yourself tell it in the first person. At worst this sounds like brandishing. Like I said get the bets attorney you can find.

I can state near for a fact that if your gun is in her car and she is rooting around in the car or standing there with the door open that she can very well be charged with going armed. ( provided you are not right there). She might not get convicted and a lawyer can probably get it dismissed. If you are right there I do not see her being charged. it is your gun, YOU be responsible for it. That means do not leave her in a position of being in the car or at it with the doors open and you not right there.

not much to them. Mine is the basic carbine, model H001 I think. Shoots great with iron sights. The lever action is smooth as melted butter. Piece of cake to strip and maintain.

I doubt it ruins the rifle any either left alone or cleaned up. The rifle most likely took out a Nazi or two, or at least was fired at them in anger. Me, I would leave it alone. The tooling marks or whatever they may be add to the character of the piece.
