  1. He was instructed in his class that it must take more than 2 steps to assemble and shoot while he "journeys." who made this fairy tale up? I do not believe there is any truth in that at all. As for you buddy he should probably carry a tool box and a lock, put the pistol in that and ammo in the glove box or perhaps in another locked box.
  2. I agree, but until there is a law saying so the right is non existent as far as what will get you cuffed and stuffed. I would like to see " reasonable restrictions " better defined,
  3. yeah they could have come up with some better way to secure the gate. I can barely get my hand in there and I can guarantee whichever way I have the key facing will be the wrong way.
  4. Machete looks very entertaining. I bet they scrounged up every Mexican actor around for it. As for Lindsay Lohan, well yanno....
  5. agreed there is no right to carry in TN. I think you need to back up your stance that HCP's are a violation of 2A though. Show me a court decision that meaningfully backs that up. Without that court's decision there is no right. Go and carry without a permit, get caught and use 2A as your defense. Let me know how that works for you. There is a big difference between gun registration and carry permits.
  6. I wonder if the circus is not hiring, nor the freak show, what in the world. kind of job could that guy possible get?
  7. I have used a Lee Classic handloader for .45 autos and 357mag/.38. it worked really well. but is kind of tedious. I bagged the .45 auto and now only do .357's. What I handload is accurate and it is cheaper. Takes a little time, but my time is free for me. As far as a store bought book to do this? Waste of cash, plenty of free info available from of all places, the internet. PS: to add, I did buy a Lee tool for priming the cases. I did not care for the hammering method needed to set primers in the Lee Classic.
  8. CLP seeems to work fine, but I do have a jar of diesel fuel mixed with oil. It works great too. I near fill the jelly jar with diesel, then add some oil ( whatever I have around) until the color looks right. Stuff works great. ( don't ask me to define what makes the color look right, I only know that I know what looks right when I see it)
  9. I don't give a crap what kind fo grill it is supposed to be. What makes a grill work is the man on the operators side of the thing. My Kenmore Gas grill cooks likes no one's business, and I give myself all the credit.
  10. Keystone Light. What can I say? When I find what I like I stick with it. JaG, having one for you.
  11. As long as each hole touches @ 50 yards then I consider it close enough as far as bulk ammo goes. [/PHP] you are the best shot I have ever heard of. I would love to shoot with you and see these results. I can no way in any shape, manner, or form get those results from bulk ammo. You are my new hero.
  12. the place sucks, I would never spend money to go there
  13. Megyn Kelly + 1 million. I wish she would run for an office.
  14. have not looked yet but I am sure I would
  15. do I interpret this right that the gooberment is screwing us again? Surely not.
  16. the bolt rifle should feed much more reliably, it does not depend on the previous round to cycle the next one into the chamber. Most of the ammo I prefer to shoot will not cycle a semi auto reliably. What bulk ammo are you using and not seeing accuracy issues? And define accuracy for me please as you see it. For me and my Savage MkII GL I get best results using Golden Eagle 40 gr. target ammo. The little Savage mini youth likes these a lot as well and that rifle even with the shorter barrel is the most accurate rifle I have. The two semi autos I use, a Glenfield Marlin Model 60 and a Stevens Model 62 prefer regular high velocity stuff to cycle reliably. The Model 60 is not overly accurate using any ammo, fine for plinking duty mind you. And will shoot minute of squirrel as long as the barrel is not hot. The Stevens shoots very accurately with the Golden Eagle but does not cycle reliably with it. Any bulk ammo makes either run fine. But once the barrels are hot you can throw accuracy out the window. I have found the Federal Champion 40 gr lead bullets are the most accurate bulk style ammo for me.
  17. LOL, sorry not laughing at you laughing with you. Yes by using the knobs for elevation and windage. Its pretty easy.. Dunno where Bellevue is ( quick someone google that for me) or I would be happy to help out
  18. if I lived closer I would come and thrash you all
  19. I have only ever had one squib in my life ( knock on wood). And it was a .357 No matter how crappy the bulk .22's are they always clear the barrel. what about subsconic rounds? Are they just primer driven anyway?
  20. watch it at about 3:10 or so
  21. first all star game I have watched since I dunno when. Boring as all get out. Would love to see Votto knock one out of the park to win the game. I sure hope a Red contributes in a big way.
  22. so how did Haslem dodge the Bloomberg question?
  23. test is BS, I have personally exterminated well over two dozen mice and chipmunks. Certainly Beibers are not even at their level in battle. Only scored a 19.
  24. its gotta match up, imho
  25. all my 22's run whatever ammo I elect to put through them, did not need any fancy after market parts. The semi autos do get an occassional fail to feed but it is not often and not to the point of being a distraction
