  1. I never heard this term until today.      I have seen diesel pickups that blow vast amounts of black exhaust.  I always wondered why they don't fix their truck.  Apparently this is done on purpose and near as I can figure is that it is done solely to be obnoxious.  I have no clue if it adds to performance or not.  But it is done on command from the operator.   I learned the term reading a story on N.J. making the practice illegal.  Seems somebody rolled coal on a guy in a hybrid and it was a state legislator who took big time offense.  Seems Rolling Coal on battery cars and hybrids is a thing.   Anyway I never heard of it before but I have seen it.  Now I know there is a term for it.   Seems pretty much a DB move anyway, rolling coal.   Anyone have any explanation for doing this?  Is there any benefit for it?   Does anyone here do it?
  2.   Explain please how government owns anything?
  3. I won't waste two seconds clicking on anything Blaze related.
  4. why not just get rid of the fence?
  5. really sorta disappointed no one showed up today.
  6. I noticed another bourbon with a new label hit the shelf with a lack of an age statement.   Jim Beam Black Label used to say 8 years old,  then they switched to the title Double Aged,  now the label says Extra Aged.   No telling how old it is.   Distilleries simply can't keep up with the demand.   On a sad note we are completely sold out of Elmer T Lee.   I do have one bottle of Rock Hill I can sell if anyone wants to come in to the store this afternoon or tonight.  Ask for me if you don't know me and please be discreet. I think it is about 60 bucks otd give or take.
  7. years ago when I was a bank teller right out of school the cash safe's combination was written on the wall opposite the safe.
  8. I have the same set up, it is fun to shoot.
  9. so before reading any of the thread other than the OP,  how long has this party been going on, and have there been reported violent crimes there?     in reference to guns being on premise     Who are these certain people she is talking about?
  10. Wow   Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.
  11. what a jack ass
  12. we have not had a get together in way too long.
  13. I got my renewed permit yesterday in the mail.  It took 18 calendar days.  I never did get the letter.
  14. holy crap.  Is that old growth or do sycamores commonly get that big?
  15. I don't do church, but if I did I'd carry.   A church is not some safe place magically protected by Jesus.  There has been killing in churches.   I look at it this way  I go to the IGA near here.  Far as I know there has never been a violent crime committed there or on their property.  I still carry.
  16. Ants are always bad in the spring.   I use Spectracide.  Sprinkle it on and around the mounds and the ants die.  Or the mound just moves,  LOL.  Tough bastards to get rid of, but the stuff does eventually get them.
  17. Tell us how you really feel Blake!
  18. all I ever have used Wheaties for is to make balls for fishing bait.   As for Bruce,  I don't care what he does.  I do know life is too short and if this makes him happy then good for him.  People are allowed to be happy.   You can't change that he is arguably the greatest Olympian ever.
  19. they work so well I never felt a need for more than one.      Nice collection btw
  20. i am sure it was my phone call and email that put us over the top.   You're welcome!   ;)   and fwiw i keep emails about laws, either for against extremely brief.   And put my position and topic the the subject box. I seriously doubt they get read at all other than to know if you are for or against something.
  21. emailed and called urging der Governor to sign it into law.  Easy Peasy!
  22. I bought the one I kept because it was the biggest pos looking rifle I had ever seen.  Looked like it had been run over by a Panzer and buried in mud for thirty years.   That and it was 95 beans OTD.  Turns out it has a Finish stock and most likely was a war capture.   I hate shooting it but it is my favorite milsurp.   That and 80 bucks for a 440 round can of bewlitts.   I agree them days are long gone and never will be seen again.
  23. funny stuff in a twisted sort of way.   Poor girl will probably never live it down.
  24. Larceny is a great deal if you do the rebate.  20 dollars back on a 1.75 gets it in your hands ( after 6-8 weeks) for around 20 bucks.   May have mentioned it before here but Larceny is a wheated bourbon and comes in at 92 proof.  Not as sweet as Makers Mark, but that is the market share they are hoping to steal from.
