  1. Daniel Cowart is not a Neo Nazi, he is a poser, a fake, acting like a neo nazi because he thought it made him cool. If he was the real deal he would not have sought to get his tattoo removed before he gets sent to prison. Cowart had plead guilty for plotting to kill the POTUS. I assume he is guilty and am fine with him being arrested and punished for that crime. I do not advocate killing anyone, just to be very clear. The only person who says anything about Neo Nazis in relation to the Arizona video is CBS. The people they were filming looking like average white folk to me, and I heard no claim from them that they were white supremists. I do not give any news organization the right to decide for me who is a Nazi and who isn't. So as for CBS saying these border patrollers are Nazi's is meaningless to me. To be clear I am not in favor of Nazi's. But these white people patrolling the border are not acting illegaly. If they had been the Sheriff of Pinal County would have said so. And for what it is worth I would not be out in the desert country of Pinal County on dirt roads without being armed. I have been there and it is a big foreboding place, no telling what might be encountered in unpopulated desert land. And I don't have southern English, I am a damn Yankee.
  2. I missed who the Brazil guy is. And why do you say that the white folk in that video were trigger happy? I did not see any evidence of them shooting at anyone. I would be happy to see our miltary armed and enforcing the borders. Hate can start anywhere, it does not have to start at home.
  3. so Strel do I interpret your broken English correctly that you are fine with illegal immigration?

  5. that and if it takes until 4 am to get my drinking done I am obviously doing something wrong.
  6. BTW, Norris is 40 bucks
  7. I will keep bringing the litte screw driver until you get the part.
  8. Everyone has a favorite. Share it with the rest of us. I started this thread to stop from derailing the other thread what is on your adult beverage menu for the evening? My favorite morning time cure is a pack or two of Goody's Headache Powder and a Powerade. Seeing as the hangover is mostly from dehydration the Powerade really helps with that. The Goody's is loaded with caffiene and aspirin so the pain goes away and the eyes brighten. Now a prehangover cure is a bunch of water and tylenol before bed, but the water always makes me get up all night long to go pee. Ice Cream and tylenol works real well. I guess it is the sugar in the Ice Cream, dunno, but it really helps.
  9. oh heck,, going to start a hangover cure thread
  10. Movie humor and whatnot aside. I will take the Pacer anyday over a Gremlin. I had a girlfriend back in highschool who's sister had a Gremlin, as well as a friend who had one. They were broke down perpetually. Both had bad rust on the floorboards, and the car was just not very well made. Did not ride well, were not very comfortable. Tried to get laid in the girlfriend's sister's Gremlin one night and it was just bad. Cops ended up knocking on the steamed up windows , so we never got the chance to finish. Anyway the Gremlin's were pretty much POS's. I later dated a girl whose parents had a Pacer. I tell you it was a nice car. Well appointed, comfortable and roomy. I did not do it in that car, but I distinctly remember thinking I would have been big enough. Lots of head and elbow room, yanno. Give me the Pacer anytime.
  11. best hangover fix I ever found is a Goodys powder and a big ass Powerade. Some ice cream before bed helps too

  13. Tell me when Dan, I am game for the lodge. Would love to see TJ's pack porch but realistically that ain't happening anytime soon.
  14. I don't see how the HCP'r could lose his permit based on his wife being a wack job.
  15. Your valid permit allows you to carry in state parks. The signage only applies to those who do not have a valid permit.
  16. that commercial skeeves me out. no way can I vote for this joker. I really wish he would quit calling my house and littering my mailbox with his trash.
  17. crack on Basil all you want. I think I found my candidate. While he may be challanged, he appears to be completely honest. He is not a lifelong self server like Wamp, he is not a phony like Haslam, and he has about as much chance of winning as Ramsey. Yep he will get my vote.
  18. according to Glen Beck today the 1099 apply's to anyone who purchases anything from anyone for 600 bucks or more. So get ready to 1099 the buyer of your AR when you do a FTF sale of it.
  19. not really, I would just as soon have a Stoner Light. But the Breadbox does not sell them in mortar shell sizes, and I was just picking up one to wash out the traill dust from cutting granny's grass that day.
  20. I think he could have used deadly force. it would not be hard to make a case that someone pointing a gun at someone is a threat to their life or in danger of grave bodily harm. Would I have used it in this instance, no. Bank robbers generally do not shoot tellers, and he was not aiming at me. now to me the big question is do I draw my piece and prepare to defend myself should he point that gun at me? At that point can a case be made that I incited him to threaten me. Sticky wicket we have here.
  21. So the fired guy has a permit, but his spouse made threats. I am not sure how threats from a person other than the HCP holder could be used against the HCP holder. Most people come to their senses in a day, emotions calm down. Hopefully that is what will happen in your case. Anyway this whole scenario is just another in a series of reasons to carry concealed and not to let people know you have a permit. All it takes to cause trouble for the permit holder is for someone to make an accusation that a threat was made or a gun brandished. ( even if it did nothappen) If no one knows then none of that can happen.
  22. I am not sure I understand the scenario. So I get fired and threaten someone from that workplace with the fact my wife has a HCP and will get you. ( do I have that right?) If that is it I don't know how her HCP would be in danger of suspension. Maybe I am not following closely enough, it is not 6 am yet. Still waiting on the caffiene to kick in.

    Short List

I already have every gun I have any desire to own. How is that for a short list?

    wow....

if it makes anyone feel better, back in the day I would have hit it. She would have stopped her pursuit of the magic number after me.
