I dunno, Memphis may be a hell hole but all I really know about it from a couple of nights near ten years ago and what I read here. I am guessing it is like most major metro areas, riddled with crime and generally a lot less safe than podunk towns like Knoxville. Of course there are places here that are riddled with crime. Okay well generally all of Knoville has crime issues. Seems the more they pack people into a place the crime goes up. Memphis has way more people so there is way more crime. And what fun would TN be if we could not crack on memphis?

no I don't think I did. I was making a point unrelated to anything you have said. Actually I never had a thought about anything posted when I made my remark. I was stating what I believe to be fact. a certain percent of people vote for who they think will win, no matter who's best.

I dunno about Krystal but they always had a big cover over the burgers on the grill at Whitey's. So they were steamed from start to finish When we were kids it was a real event to have White Castle's for dinner. It involved a fairly long ride in the car and no one ever complained. Of course that was well before the days of fast food joints every two hundred yards down the main drag. The only choices for carry out supper really were White Castle, Colonel Sanders or ( to be back on topic) chili. And you could not get chili on Sundays, closed. Dinner out Sunday was the Colonel or Whitey's. Good memories.

I don't know how Krystal actually prepares their burger, so I will assume it is fried. Where as a White Castle is steamed on onions, not just fried. The little holes in the burger do something to it too, and then they are steamed with the buns before being boxed. Nothing like it. Krystals just always struck me as really small hamburgers, nothing special really. Not saying they are bad but there is no comparison really to White Castles.

i am guessing a lot of people vote for who they think will win. It is like people who jump on some sports teams bandwagon when they are going to win a title or two. No loyalty to anything except who they think will win any given time.

I gotta say, that if you know for 100% you have nothing in your car that can get you into trouble, never consent to a search. And I guess that goes too for if they may find something, LOL. You really have nothing to lose by saying no. and don't ever leave a handgun in a car with someone who has no permit.

there is nothing wrong with buying from pawn shops. Anytime you buy anything you ought to have a fair idea of what it is worth and what it will cost. I got a fair deal on a 12 gauge pump once and a real good deal on a .22 rifle. it is kind of silly to make a blanket statement against pawn shops.

why would Dem's cross over and vote for Haslam? Wouldn't it make more sense to vote for whoever you thought your guy had the best chance of beating in the general election? And it does not matter much what gets said here, unless Haslam turns out to be a cross dressing fairy he will be the next governor.
