  1. you planning on being an assassin?
  2. yanno Kegger, I think you are right. That particular day I was getting killed at work, had no cash in my pocket and had taken some leftovers from home for lunch that just did not interest me. The heat probably kept hunger at bay. I worked in the golf business for a lot of years, pretty much worked outside. I never had a problem with the heat really. I drank only diet cokes but golf course feed the help for the most part. So I always had something for lunch that was palatable. I think your food comment is spot on. Was hot as an Easy Bake oven in there today even though it was not so bad outside. I pounded water and sweated like a pig, but I did make myself stop at about 11 and eat a little something (some of a chicken breast), and then I stopped at about 1:30 and ate a little more. I also went to the store and got a couple Powerades. But I never felt bad like I had that other day. So I do think food is part of it all.
  3. to the OP, forget that place and move on. You have nothing to gain by meeting them idiots ever again. As for being 23, logic tells me I was 23 once, but I surely canot recall any defining moment that happened to me then. So being 23 was fairly over rated. Garufa I really did not need to read what your pooh smells like. Mine smells like roses btw. And I thought all you Oak Ridgers ate Big Ed's?
  4. no one needs to bash Memphis, it goes without saying. I am having micowaved pizza leftover from the weekend, yuck. Piled it high with crushed red pepper, sort of helps. You all just be glad I am not empowered with a banhammer
  5. dinner and supper are interchangable in my book. I always thought of dinner as a big meal early in the day, neighbors of ours growing up had Sunday Dinner. Supper is definitely what my family sat down to in the evening when the old man came home from work. Dinner was a word not really used in our house. At any rate to clarify, this thread is about what you had or are having as your evening meal. Call it what you may.
  6. I dunno but I think if you want to argue football player graduation rates the standard would be how many are in the NFL not how many received a sheepskin at the end. Most of the players in the SEC deep down think they will play in the NFL one day regardless of the odds. I don't think most of them have any desire to graduate.
  7. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/general-off-topic/44715-heat-stroke-discussions.html move discussing heat to this thread. All I want to know in this dinner thread was what is on the menu.
  8. started this so my " whats for dinner thread would not get "Jacked" any further. Discuss your heat stroke here. I thought I had one about a week and a half ago. Could not put any more fluid in me that I had been doing. To get more I would have needed a garden hose stuck in my stomache. I was sloshing when I walked. Pissing deep color, stopped sweating, nausea, disoriented. it was bad news. Took me a couple of days to feel better. I was not very sure I was going to be able to drive home once I started on down the road. It took about 4 days of staying in doors in A/C to really feel myself again.
  9. hurry up and build it, I am looking forward to shooting at it
  10. Keystone Light, started up about noon
