  1. I want to commit, but just don't want to commit, if that makes sense. My first priority must be paying the bills and work must come first. But after that I want to be part of it all. I will volunteer to do what I can.
  2. that is amazing, I do not doubt you and all. but those are the tires I had on my Ranger and the original on my current truck. Worst tires I ever had. I will never buy Firestone again by choice. I wonder if they all came from the same plant?
  3. Am I allowed to be involved ,time allowing without being an offical leader or whatever? if and when they take camping trips I would love to go.
  4. Bill, no worries about thread jacking on the other one! I have had top shelf factory tires when I have bought new trucks. A ford Ranger in 95, barely got 20,000 out of them, Again Firstone on my 99 F 150 barely got 25,000. I never buy high dollar tires. I am on my my fourth set of skins on this truck, ( 180,000 miles). So subtract the original Firestones and that leaves 155, 000 on three sets of off brand tires.( this set has a lot of life still) And I have always had one tire be the cause of needing new ones. Three are still usable for another 20,000 miles and one is flat out shot. Dunno why this happens. So from that I say you are not doing well with what you have on them rice burners. I have had Michelins on the Minister of War's cars several times, they do good but not what I get on my truck. I do check tire pressure and inflate as needed every month. FWIW I have paid in the ballpark of 500 bucks for four tires every time. these look very similar to mine
  5. If the woman of TGO look like Selma thay can start bitching. My guess is they are all very lovely, but there is only one Selma Hayek ( Salma for OS)
  6. if they are wearing evenly I would not mess with it. I usually end up with three tires worn down about the same and one just beat to crap. And FWIW I always get asked about an alignment
  7. I looked at the tires hard. I cannot discern any difference between any of them as far as what direction they should roll. If I swap them side to side the tread will still face the same direction on each side as they do now. As it is the drivers side and passenger side tread faces different directions. Anyway they are Mesa A/P tires. I have no clue who actually made them. Bought them from NTB. The passenger side are worn funny on the inside. That problem was from a idler arm. It has been corrected. The drivers side tires are warn very evenly. They have been rotated front to back one time, probably 35,000 miles total on them.
  8. we live in Corryton, he goes to Gibbs Elementary. I don't mind spending whatever it costs to have him outfitted properly. he hates hats, does he have to wear one?
  9. man that is a lot of damage for such a small animal. Them dang things are all over the place around here. I am amazed I have not hit one yet.
  10. that will only end up being about 300 bucks with labor
  11. I can't do mustaches and unibrows.
  12. thanks for the link. I have been checking it out. Looks like about 100 bucks to get a uniform and to sign him up. It will be good money spent.
  13. I just looked and if I switched sides on the tires the tread would still face the way they face now. In other words on the drivers side the outer band of tread sweeps back, on the passenger side they sweep forward. If I swapped them they would still face that way. I think I have found a weekend project, well an hours work anyway.
  14. i am fairly sure that someone somewhere is pretty much sick of her ,. She is a female after all. Other than that she is hot as fire and I wish I could have an at bat. PS: Nate that was just plain wrong.
  15. define directional tread? I don't think I have this. They are typical off brand mud and snow light truck tires. White letters on one side , i had my choice as to which side to face out. my wifes tires have arrows on them to show the way they should roll. PS no overloading issues or seperation, tires are at least still 50% good.
  16. I am having my daughter sign up the grandson for Cub Scouts. Someone who has been there recently fill me in. How much do uniforms cost, how much can I expect to spend in a year for him to do this? Where do I get a uniform for him at. What else do I need to know?
  17. is there any valid reason to prevent me from rotating my tires from drivers side to passenger side? This crap of going back to front is not working. I want to put driver side front to pasenger side front and drivers side rear to passenger side rear. For whatever reason I have it in my head that I should not do this, not sure why.
  18. yeah, the Tebow pick was epic FAIL at least the rookie I picked will see lots of playing time and get lots of balls thrown his way.
