definitely don't use overdrive on the trip. Drive slower than normal and try not to forget there is another 15 feet or so that you control going where you go when you change lanes. I have seen people with trailers forget they are there when they go to change lanes.

you also can't see if maybe the truck had a turn arrow and the guy on the scooter just went on through. Hard to tell who is to blame here. Everyone seems quick to blame the non two wheeled motorist in these deals. There is a guy on a chopper I see a couple of time a week on I-640 if I get out of work right about 6 pm. He is a hazard to himself and everyone else out there. Weaving all over the place, last night he actually went between me in the left lane and a car riding in the middle lane. And then did it two more times befotre I lost sight of him. I have seen him on the break down lane as well. Motorcycle riders are not all angels and without fault. Just sayin.... After further reviewing of the clip I will dare say there probably was a turn arrow for the truck, as I can also see cars making left hand turns who are coming from the same direction as the scooter was.

thanks for all the comments and input. I can't commit to being anything official in cub scouts. my work hours are not set in stone. I work until the work is done for the day. Cannot make promises about being available at any certain time. So I will do what I can if they let me roll that way. At any rate the boy is looking forward to signing up Thursday night. If I can take him I will, if not someone else can/will do it.

So Trig do you seriously believe God sends hurricanes as punishment? Really? If retribution was the goal why wouldn't the hurricane just hit those that cause the issues to begin with? This story reads like the baptist church who claims God is killing our soldiers because the the country is immoral and evil. I am sorry but that is crazy talk.
