  2. It costs all of one dollar. You get one dollar's worth of laughs out of it easily. It's like a family reunion
  3. Betty and Barney Hill as well as a bunch of others are pretty sure that we have been visited. Alien Abduction Best Cases of Alien Abduction
  4. if the earth has been visited in the past by other beings it sure would help explain a lot of things.
  5. The truth is out there.
  6. The snake killing thread, examples of OC being targeted thread and this one all ought to be merged. Seems there is little to no proof of any of it.

    Tipping.

if you play golf at a course where bag attendants handle your clubs you should tip two bucks on the way in. If they clean your clubs throw two more bucks. If you play regularly somewhere and see the same attendants, throw five bucks after you are done and skip the tipping on the way in. I believe in fair tipping. Give what is warranted. Over tipping is ridiculous, the guy you are tipping will appreciate it, but will be laughing at you about it when you are gone.
  8. I'd also recommend the Knox County Sheriff. IIRC it was 85 bucks for the class and took all of the twelve hours. If for no other reason it is your one and only chance to use the best indoor shooting range in east tennessee. I found the contact info in my rolodex Contact Larry Herron 865-573-5264 or 659-6451. 9. the incident in Milwaukee is the only one I had ever heard of where someone OCing was targeted. I have never read anything about a cop being targeted for their gun. I have read where a cop and a criminal wrestled over the cops gun, but that was always after the cop instigated making an arrest or a stop. If you want to OC at least have a good retention system with your holster.
  10. kinda funny this was dug up considering this thread http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handgun-carry-self-defense/52657-how-many-people-actually-open-carry.html is handy right now.
  11. so you kill the snake and then a rat gets in your house and gnaws on your baby's leg, how would you feel?
  12. yeah, what does a gun forum have to do with it?
  13. most people who claim to have the flu have a common cold.
  14. I don't do it. My wife does and she gets sick every time in spite of doing it.
  15. anonymity doesn't matter. Who cares. Link me to Facebook all you want, I don't do facebook. So what does that prove? I am not sure but I do not think 1A mentions anything about your name being attached to what you say. People take internet forums way tooooooooo seriously. And of course 1A does not apply anyway. Watch what happens to Strel. If what people say on the interwebz pisses you off there is always the choice of not reading it.
  16. what crime was he committing? Jaywalking maybe? Stupidity is not a crime either.Kind of the same if you illegally park your vehicle in the road and it gets hit, it is still the fault of the guy who hit you.
  17. been a few years since I studied geography but I used to believe the Canada and Mexico were in America.
  18. no favorite brand, but by the definition of most it would be Remington. Rifle, shotgun and replica pistol
  19. the video at the link is about license plates for military parents. here is the link with the brawl video, found it Halls brawl starts with teens, then parents jump in | wbir.com Freaking hillbilly parents. Why am I not suprised by this?
  20. there is a lot of humor in truth
  21. I don't have any pics but have used this stuff called Van's Instant Gun Blue. Bought it from a guy who was doing gun shows. Gun Bluing Made Easy With Van's Instant Gun Blue! I used it first off on a F&N 1905 vest pocket pistol that was in gawd awful shape when I bought it. And have since used it on all kind of pieces that could use some touching up. The stuff is really good. Follow the instructions and it is really simple. the pieces I have touched up look great too. I do not believe anyone can tell they have been worked on.
  22. I believe if you clean the chimney annually you will be alright. I have burned a lot of wet wood and aside from the first year we were here the chimney sweep never thought the thing was particularly dirty. I have not burned anything this season. I had a bird problem last summer and I am afraid of a nest in there now and cash has been short to get it swept. Why do I think bullets are better to spend on than a chimney sweep?
  23. I have seen boxes that can be bolted to the bed sitting completely inside the bed, then you can cover the bed with a cap. I have also seen storage thingys that attach somehow to the cabwall behind the bench seat. I don't know if they make them for a Ranger. But they appeared to hold quite a bit as they had different compartments on it. A locking tonneau ( sp?) is a good option. I believe there is a slot molded in the bedwalls for a 2X4 that will hold gear or whatever close to the tail gate too. I had a Ranger new back in 95. It was a nice truck but a little small for my tastes. I hope it suits your needs. And it is a Ford so you know it is reliable.
