Good for you Kirk. yep OCing brings trouble, mostly from a few people here on this webste. In spite of there being virtually no proof to any of it happening, OC'ing will cause you to start a panic, have you targeted by bad guys , someone will take it away from you etc... Sort of along the lines of having a NRA sticker on you vehicle will make you the victim of vehicle break ins.

There will be instructions with the car kit that explain how to fix the axle slots. The car we built was the same way. I ended up not using their front slot but rather drilled two holes, one on each side for the front ( which was the crooked one). I drilled one hole higher so the car would run on three wheels. There are 3 keys to speed in these things. Graphite powder on the axles, get the weight right to 5 ounces, and make sure the car rolls straight. What really matters is that the kid has fun and is involved in building the racecar. When our pack did the derby last month every kid had a ball, it didn't mattered who won ( accept to some adults) The kids for the most part don't even know.

I will gladly pay an extra twenty cents a gallon for non ethanoll gasoline. Ethanol easily cuts my MPG by 10%. My yard equipment all runs way better on real gasoline, the quads as well. I used to know of three stations that sold it around here. Now none of the three do. if my truck could run on vodka I could hedge my bets a bit. Obama will be thrilled when gas costs 5 bucks a gallon. Wealthy people are not concerned, an extra fifty bucks a week per car they have ( kids and such) is nothing if you have millions. The guy making 12 or 14 bucks an hour and raising a family will be killed by it happening. Like I said Obama will be thrilled by it. more people that are dirt poor, the more that look to the .gov for help. iAnd I believe OS is spot on. If there was a magic pill for MPG we would have seen it by now, and paying out the wazzoo for it too.

I cannot even find non ethanol fuel here anymore. The Sunoco down the street no longer has it, and the Weigels up the street no longer has it. Though the Weigles still claims it on the pumps but not on the marquee sign board. My MPG's are telling me it has ethanol too. Over five bucks by Labor Day 2011

gasoline is crack to an addicted nation. Be glad it is not already five bucks or more per gallon. I mean really what could you do? Stop driving? Not likely. I suppose if it got that bad I would just have to sleep over at work through the week. There is no public transportation that is viable for around here.

just because lawmakers are trying to pass laws or have passed laws that force someone to show ID and sign papers does not mean that ALL such laws are a bad thing. I can't just paint it with that broad of a brush. Anything the man can do to slow down the meth chefs is alright in my book. ****ing illegal drugs ruin lives. And not just the lives of the addicts.

.30 cal bullets killed a lot of people before the .223 came along. Maybe get away from fully auto weapons and give out rifles that need to be aimed rather than sprayed? I dunno.

I have never ever heard of dunking a gun. where do people come up with this stuff. The only thing I do is make sure there is no blockage in the barrel.

I have never had a 4x4 truck. I have only been stuck one time and that was the black ice storm a few years back, just could not pull my hill. Other than that my rear wheel drive stick shift pick up gets around pretty well. Comes from being a yankee I guess, we learn to drive in snow. When it snows things go on as planned up there. You southern boys need to learn to drive. I do not follow how one can have too much power to get around in snow. Put it in a lower gear or start out in second. I really have no problems with it all.

if it would not incriminate me I would admit to eating those same kind of mushrooms, and if you would have had a similar experience that I might have had ( had it happened) it would explain believing someone was telling you not to eat them anymore. I do believe there is plenty of proof of the existence of ET's. Hard proof that can be studied still today.
