  1. Regan was a decent actor and I could never tell when he was acting or not while in the oval office. And he was pretty good, almost as good as the guy now is at spending our money.
  2. Reagan is your alls god. The republican party I know spends almost as fast as the democrats. Not too much difference between crapping the country away at the speed of sound or the speed of light when it boils out.
  3. just loan the guy the gun. The what if scenarios here mean squat. Why give uncle sugar any part of the action? it is plainly legal to do so.
  4. it does not even matter how much fuel ( oil ) we really have. The entire situation will be used to further political agendas. We have had ample oppurtunity to make things better for our country. NO one in power has ever done much other than try to get re-elected. Supposely the USA is the Arabia of natural gas. I dunno, but lets say we are. Why were cars not built to run on that stuff 20 years ago? Because it did not further political agendas is why. Nothing we say or do as citizens is going to make one bit of difference. The average wage earner iis screwed. No one who can make a difference cares. I wish I was born fifty years sooner so I could I could be taking my dirt nap already.
  5. then anarchy and desperation if you will. Either way nothing is going to change under the present system of things.

    FFL needed?

    i knew that BK ~
  7. learn something new everyday. And I thought the big fault of the Nambu was that you could set it off by applying pressure to the left side of the frame either on purpose or on accident.

    FFL needed?

if he purchased the thing from a FFL then would he be using a FFL? LOL
  9. i think it is overrated. Your bootlaces will work as a boresnake. Lube can be gotten about anywhere. I have a Model 60 that is over 30 years old. In my younger days I did not give two craps about gun care. I finally cleaned and lubed it for the first time a couple of years ago. If your handgun or rifle will not stand up to several hundred rounds through it over a few years or even many years with little to no care you really ought to think about why you are keeping that particular gun for the end of the world. You are not going to be shooting thousands of rounds anymore.

    FFL needed?

within the letter of the law, no.
  11. gotta wonder why they did not make the mags interchangable. I have shot both flavors and I do not see really anything about the XDm that makes it better, just different.
  12. those who had some foresight to see it coming then prepared and those who would rather read about Charlie Sheen.
  13. there is NO difference between Democrats and Republican's. If you think there is then you are kidding yourself. Nothing will ever change until this place goes belly up, I don't mean eyebrow deep in debt. I mean no more money at all, no public services whatsoever. No food, no gasoline, no safe tapwater, grocery stores with bare shelves. Armed bands of scavengers in the streets taking whatver they can. Thats what it will take for anything to change. Of course once this all happens we will have civil war or China will be supplying rice for the masses to have a meal.
  14. I was at the dump over the past weekend. Carrying like I normally do, the .32 at 4:30 inside waistband. I was dumping used motor oil in the collection tub and when I was done the guy behind me was grinning at me like a hyena. I did not think nothing of it really until I stepped up into the truck and realized the pistol was in plain view as the waist band on my sweatshirt had totally ridden up my back. I bet if I had my ccw badge he would not have been smiling
  15. I don't think a little oil would have helped that pistol much.
  16. on the couple of milsurps I have that have stock damage they were repaired by what appears to be a hole drilled at the end of the crack and filled with a dowl. I assume drilling the end of the crack stops the stress and further cracking. The repairs look nice to and have been effective.
  17. +1 to someone's inadvertant big mouth causing you trouble. Keep your stuff put away and don't talk about it yourself.
  18. drinking alone is the only way to fly. If I am going to fall down and piss myself I really don't need anyone seeing that. Happy birthday.
  19. Is a carry permit instructor badge more special than a regular CCW badge?

    .22 semiautomatic

this is the answer the OP is looking for. Except skip the stripping part, no need. It will run forever.
  21. all I know about a 22-45 is that every time I have stripped mine to clean it I wonder why I bothered. The dang thing runs dirty and nothing hurts so why bother.
  22. yep raise the price of gas until no one can afford to go to work. What then, battery cars? So how much does a battery car cost on a 5 year note? And if I can't afford to buy gas how am I supposed to afford a 40,000 car?
  23. screw the .gov and their ways of making things better for us.
  24. the event was a classic. But I gotta say I like the Rabbi and I wish he was never banished. not sure who actually believed the ad like it was gospel truth anyway. The thing became a penis measuring contest.
