    My first baby

throw that trigger lock away. And if you did not do it on this pistol, next time verify that the bore is not obstructed before shooting it. Other than that go and shoot the crap out of it.
  6. reads like a lame April Fools day joke. I ain't buying it.
  7. if they don't want me to carry they can post a legal sign with proper wording or a gunbuster sign if they wish.
  8. I would have taken a pass. It is worthless beinng butchered as you describe. just MHO. why do people do this to battle rifles?
  9. nothing like waiting too long motenn. Does not sound good for you.
  10. everyone makes mistakes. This is a tough one. I mailed my renewal two weeks ago. Hope mine did not get shredded. At least I have the letter saying my permit is good until they determine it is not or a new one shows up.
  11. so basically Bill's dropped the ball by not calling and you blame Palmetto?
  12. I am glad I am having a positive effect on some of you here And while a .45 is a death ray, the 9mm clip usually holds more bewlitts than the .45 clip does.
  13. were there carry permits in TN before 1991? sorry to be slightly OT, but the guy who owns that bar said he has had a permit for over 20 years
  14. I knew that
  15. i prefer to say clip. It pisses people off and that makes me happy.
  16. I saw this covered on Fox this morning. This is the stuff that happens when people become too accustomed to the .gov being there to hold their hands and give them free things. When the looters demand more than us workers can provide they don't know how to react. So they riot. It will happen here someday.
  17. Heck if you don't like the gun shows then vote with your dollars and don't go. I enjoy the gun shows in Knoxville. Of course there is some over priced wares there. And there are definitely fair deals to be had. I do not go with expectation of finding some ridiculous good deal. People now days are better educated at the value of items and they generally seems to be priced appropriately. If you think it is priced to high, don't buy. Simple rule. Whats the problems with knives, beef jerky, toys, jewelry and picked eggs? Are those tables not allowing some gun sellers access to the show for selling purposes? I seriously doubt it. So in real world effect the odd item vendors are hurting nothing. And as well they must be finding buyers for their goods or they would not be there month after month. Just because you don't like knives I know for a fact others enjoy looking at knives and possible purchasing one. I see it all the time. And aren't most shows titled as Gun and Knife shows? I see tables with gun parts at every show, is it the sellers fault that they actually know what they have and how much they want for it? I don't know where else to go to be able to fondle and look at milsurp guns of all variety. For the most part they are priced fairly. I could care less about tacticool accessories so I pretty much skip past those displays. Give me old war rifles that still function, if they look like they were dug out of the mud so much the better. As for the Guns and Hero Gear Expo, IIRC there was a gun show in Knoxville that weekend, so I am guessing thats where all the vendors were at. And Winchester is a bit out of the way for most of us. Sorry it did not pan out for the promoters. But I am guessing it is hard to get regular gun show vendors to do an out of the way venue when there is a regularly scheduled venue in a population center that same weekend. I am not sure I can find much to bitch about in regards to gun shows, expect the carpet bombers walking around. People could use to step outside to do their farting.
  18. there should be a tax on brains. Certainly very few in DC would ever have to pay.
  19. in case it is not clear you can carry in restaurants or bars provided they are not posted and you are not using.
  20. I just sent my renewal and it took three days for the check to clear my bank, I dunno how in the world someone can be approved for a HCP and have it mailed out in just three days.
  21. am curious what they were held in before they were stolen. did I miss that post?
  22. I have them coming into my yard at night, it is gettng to be a regular thing. I heard something this morning about 6 AM that I can't even explain the sound. It sounded large and it had to have been within 50 yards of the house. It made the oddest yak sound I have ever heard before. Not that it sounded like a Yak ( bovine animal), but rather the bark or whatever you would call it sounded like "YAK" Very creepy and very loud. It scared the crap outta my grandson when we went out to take him to school. If I was to take a shot at one would a .22 LR into the lungs do the trick?
  23. Wayne LaPierre called in on Glenn Beck's radio show today ans spoke about this. Sounds like the Big O's administration was trying to pull a fast one and have it blamed on 2A and lawful gun dealers and owners. I can't hardly believe that this is not being splashed all over mainstream news media and someone in the White House being forced to fess up.
  24. I wanted to be strickj but it was already taken
  25. and of course if that fails you always have a bag of butcher knives to fall back on
