Fear The Walking Dead (Los Angeles spinoff)
Mike.357 replied to monkeylizard's topic in General Chat
I get the sense that Madison can't wrap her head around what she has witnessed and done. Same for Travis. I believe they are wrestling with the fact they they witnessed murder or committed it. They don't have the luxury of knowing what we know. Has the junky on talked about it to his sister? Seriously Tobias is the only one with a clue. -
does anyone actually still make tin foil?

I need to pay closer attention to the time frame. While we have watched two episodes in 8 days how many days has the story advanced in their world? Food is going to start getting scarce, even if next weeks episode only makes it three days in their time. -

what happened to the cart full of supplies Madison and Tobias had? After she offed the principal they would have had time to take it with them. Made no sense to just leave it. I expect next week will be more violent if that's what you are looking for. -
a lot of people don't realize Jefferson's does not distill.

Fear The Walking Dead (Los Angeles spinoff)

Last night's episode ramped up nicely. This show is going places now. Tobias is smart and ahead of the curve, he might be alright. While the original plan was to go to the desert I think hunkering down and staying home is the best thing right now. No way to get to the desert as the streets are clogged. There was a nice graphic in Story Sync that showed the problems with the highways NO guns yet other than the cops. I think they are doing a nice job of showing how society will start to break down. And also some of the cold blooded decisions that need to be made. -
they blend some great stuff. They don't make any of it

they do HCP classes regularly, I would imagine they just include military people in those classes. -

Fed Appeals Court Says Illegal Aliens Have 2A Rights
Mike.357 replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
it doesn't matter if your are here illegally, Being able to defend yourself is a right you are born with. Man may attempt to take that right from you but you still have it. And a gun is the best method of self defense. Absolutely everyone in the world has the right to defend themselves, gun included. Man has restricted that right. You may end up in jail for having it but you do have the right to have a gun. -
If it was mine to choose I'd cut it all but internet. But there is "She who must be obeyed" to deal with. I am getting near close to making a fight about it though. I don't need a landline. I can't tell you the last time anyone called and asked for Mike.357. I can get all my TV watching needs from netflix, (which my son anchored himself to years ago. HAHAHAHA I won't let him out of it.) Mostly i watch You Tube anyway.

that is a pretty sweet deal. Must be the rifle Jude Law used. Greatest Ruskie sniper ever he was. And funniest of all is some guy around here was selling one and only wanted a reasonable amount for it.

Totally OT but a guy way on the other side of the hayfield here had a game camera set up. I am pretty sure he has an extensive collection of me riding by on the quad. Cracks me up when I ride by at night.

First thought I had of the pic. Maybe the critter's head in the op is turned. Hard to tell without any reference to height.

Fear The Walking Dead (Los Angeles spinoff)

What did you find humorous about him? Character crossover? I did not know him from Harry Potter. Only found that just now. I thought his part as a drug addict was spot on. What did you dislike about the show? I liked it but am trending to yawn. I think it has possibility's, can't wait for societal breakdown. Mac mentioned it was renewed for a second season. Someone with money has watched and thinks it is good. -

http://www.amc.com/shows/fear-the-walking-dead/story-sync They ask questions, want you to rate situation, and at the end they tell you if you lived or not and which character you were most like. I work nights, and when Better Call Saul was on I watch the 11 pm rebroadcast, you just kind of have to click along to keep pace with the show. When doing it live it is supposed to move along on its own. ( usually does, sometimes you have to prompt it) I think it adds a lot of entertainment value to the shows. Check it out. -
Regal movie theaters begin searching bags
Mike.357 replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in General Chat
it is about concession money, they use guns as an excuse. Personally I factor in the cost of a drink and snack if I go to a movie. More often than not I limit it to a bottle of water. I am a man, I can go two hours without eating if'n I want. But if I want popcorn, six bucks or whatever is not a deal breaker. I see a movie maybe every year or two. Fury was the last one. Can't recall the one previous. What qualifies a teenage ticket taker to look in anyone's bag? Woman are protective about that stuff, yeah most will succumb to police at a stadium etc... But letting some random person look, not so much. And really if all they do is peer in, how many woman could throw a pistol in the purse and it get lost in all the stuff they seem to carry? Funniest is that most people carry concealed in their waistband. Looking into a purse or backpack will not stop 99% of us from just walking on by. -

I liked it. I think it will the pace will quicken up next week. Tobias knows what is going on, he reads the internet. Maybe he will become a bigger player in the story. Did anyone do the story sync? I think that is one of the best things about watching these shows on AMC. -
NASCAR isn't destroyed, maybe just a little too big for its britches. It is big money. Been that way for a long time, now the amounts are obscene. The sport peaked ten years ago. You could not get tickets to most any Cup race, tracks expanded seating, new tracks were built. Now they can't fill any of them. I don't think that has to do with the France family or political correctness.
