  1. Let me google that for you
  2. if your beer is lasting that long you are doing something wrong
  3. You might could try Austin's up in Oak Ridge. I am guessing he does not have one in stock but I am sure he could quote you a price and order it if you wanted. Mike is good guy to deal with.
  4. For me the real only downside if Hi Point guns is the low capacity mags.
  5. we can make that happen.

So do you just dislike them or not wear them?
  9. Did not see any horses. But a deer sauntered across the range.
  10. +1
  11. The weak link in all Hi Points are the mags. They usually need a little tweaking. Once the lips are tightened up just a bit they seem to run fine. I also put some Remington Dry Lube in them. As a last resort you can ship it back to Hi Point and have them check out the rifle. I don't know what they do but from what I have read of others experience they come back fixed. And they also include a magazine or two to offset the cost of the shipping to send it back to them. The only problem that had stumped me on my carbine was the bolt being hard to release after it held open after the last round. I tried oil and then grease on it but had no better luck with it releasing easily. It took some muscle to get it to go back forward. But after several hundred rounds through it that problem has gotten better. The older model carbines do not have the hold open feature and if one so chooses they could remove it from the new model. On my 9C ( or is it C9?) the pistol only had the ghost ring sight. I do not care for it. I called Hi point and told them I bought it used and inquired about buying the regular rear sight. They sent me one for free.
  12. i got some indian ink and a needle, call me.
  13. well those are my three ghost stories. I got a UFO/alien story but I am not so sure I wanna tell it.
  14. I am sure I will buy a .45 one day. Gotta have the trio! i bought my 9C or is it a C9? FTF at a gunshow, it shoots fine too. And you can't beat the 9mm carbine for a CQB rifle, it is accurate as all heck and very reliable. Also available in .40 and .45.
  15. You cement the base down, the four section telescoping 16 foot pole slides down into it. Seriously, if you take it down once a month it should never lock up on you. I let it sit for 6 months maybe longer. Had to have a friend hold it while I twisted. Then it came free. A real good deal imho for the price.
  16. LOL,some had more some had less. I got a crate of it too. Filtheist ammo to handle I have ever had. Still have some! Maybe I need to shoot it more. I will second this nomination as the dirtiest ever.
  17. Soupy Sales loved the Mosin Nagant rifle.
  18. We also had Nick Clooney. He was a local TV celeb as well as some famous guys Dad he hosted movies weekdays at 4 pm. He played the Right Face game. He had a big board with squares that had pictures of various famous people. You mailed in entries and he pulled them from a hopper. He then called the pulled card live. If you could match two faces you won. Dang TV was way better back then.
  19. tv sucks, Bob Shreve and the Cool Ghoul could get me watching again.
  20. Mac that dude was awesome. Saturday night at nine PM he came on. Always showed some horror flick or monster movie. It was great entertainment. He came back at all commercial breaks. people watched to see him as much as any movie they showed. At 11 was the news, but then at 11:30 was Bob Schreve. Bob was on TV late Saturday nights for years and years. He was hilarious. IIRC his schtick was being a bartender and hosting movies. He was sponsored by Schoenling Brewery. The guy would be absolutley hammered by 3 AM, I mean drunk as Cootie Brown. he was on from like 11:30 until 5:30. In later years he just hosted the movies and did comedy bits at commercial breaks and between movies. He showed any genre of movies. Bob Shreve - Biography Wow, what great memories I have of both of these entertainers. Nothing like it on TV any more.
  21. So if you look in the front door window of our house you see the main bathroom door. I dunno why the place was built like this but it was. Several times when exiting that bathroom or being at the sink with the door open and at night I feel like someone it watching me through the front door. my wife has mentioned it several times since we have lived here. Several times I absolutely think I see a face peering in through that window. Of course no one has ever been there. But I tell you I have seen a face there. It only happens at night and of course I always felt it was my own reflection I have seen in the door. But then why would my wife see a mans face in the door window? About fifteen years ago, 7 years or so before we bought the house the previous owner had shot and killed a peeping Tom who had been spying on his daughter. We knew the story when we bought the house. He sold it because he lost a civil suit over the shooting. He was never charged criminally as a result of the shooting. A couple months ago I was talking with one of the neighbors who owns property that butts up to mine. I asked him about what went on when Stanley shot the peeper. Seems Stanley and his wife left for work before the daughter left for school. Stanley's wife had caught the guy peeping at her before and the daughter had told her Dad that she had been spyed on before too. Stanley had contacted the Sheriff's office and the peeper had been warned that bad things were going to happen. Did not slow him down any. One morning after the Dad and Mom should have both left for work the daughter was in the bathroom dressing for school. The peeper was at the front door pleasuring himself. Little did he know that the Dad had not gone to work that day for whatever reason. Stanley was hollered for and came running with a rifle. He ran out the door chasing the peeper and ended up shooting and killing the perv. I am not sure where on the property he fell and died but he still likes to look in through our front door from time to time. The last time I saw the reflection I pulled my gun from my holster and the reflection disappeared. Do I have a ghost? I dunno but it sure seems that way. I am not the least bit scared of the thing. And none of us have seen him since the day I pulled my pistol on it. I also could swear I once saw a face peering in through my basement sliding doors on the back of the house. I saw it flash and I took off out the basement and through the other door down here, nothing was to be found. After assessing the situation where I had seen the flace flash would have put the guy at near 7 feet tall, so I am sure it was not a person, whatever it was I saw.
  22. aah, Rodan must be why I thought of Godzilla. Never missed them movies when the The Cool Ghoul showed them Saturday nights. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cool_Ghoul
  23. that freaking place sucks. And it is the RSO's who make it that way.
  24. if your pants are too tight to begin with any IWB holster is going to feel awful. Buy pants a little big and it feels fine. I dunno if the particular holster even matters.
  25. I would guess that everyone knows cops carry guns, so what is the point of a cop in uniform concealing? You darn well know he has a gun.
