  1. Mine takes at least 4 minutes to pull up my home page on boot up
  2. what seems absurd about the whole, machine gun from a gun show thing is that I am not sure I have ever seen an actial fully auto rofle at a gun show. Sometimes there is a guy with a demilled MG 42, but thats all I got off the top of my head. Well and the Pederson device rifle.
  3. heck, booting up the computer would have taken longer than filling out the form did.
  4. I want a fully auto from a gun show
  5. the post made perfect sense to me.
  6. doing it by mail is easier that doing anything online. Took me all of a couple of minutes to fill out the form and put it in a stamped envelope. The TDOS even was so thoughtful as to mail me the renewal form well in advance of the permits expiration. All in all it was about the most painless interaction I have ever had with a state agency.
  7. The last I would sell off would be the Ruger SP101 in 357 mag. So I guess that's my best handgun. Long gun would be the M1 carbine
  8. Enfield you are flat out wrong. And as Forrest Gump said " that's all I have to say about that"_
  9. It has nothing to do with being over the limit. IIRC the law says under the influence.
  10. I don't agree with you even one iota. I don't even know what to say to your Mengela comment. People have no say over their arrival, but they darn well ought to be able to choose their time and method of departure.
  11. don't go throwing hypothesis into things Buc, We will have an Ice Age when Al Gore says we will. And if you don't believe that just check the internet, after all he invented it too. Back in the 70's I know I read and saw on TV that an Ice Age was fixing to come upon us. If you had not been fixing up bewlitt holes and fetching rubber arms off the sides of the road you would know that.
  12. not too long ago I recall a Ice Age was on the way, now an earth killing heat blast is happening. I pretty much figure whatever is convenient for the making of money is whats is supposed to happen, at least as far as those who are making predictions will make money.
  13. the biggest rule I have for shooting at my place is to bring your own beer. DaveTN nailed it, call the man and ask if you can shoot.
  14. Newb
  15. nice gun to carry but not much fun at the range.
  16. as long as it is not open and you are not under the influence there is no problem. I do it all the time and the 12 or 18 pack sits right on the seat. Last time I bought beer I was carrying and a deputy was right behind me in the liine. I was not worried. The thought police are not in charge yet.
  17. sounds like typical gov't action that makes people feel like they will be safer when in reality it does not do anything at all.
  18. I have found then when something needs to be broken or thrown, that the relief supplied from breaking something is in direct proportion to the cost of whatever it is you choose to break. IE:Throw a cell phone against the wall and you forget about whatever made you mad to begin with, throw a pack of matches across the room, and you'll still be pissed off. I hope you are alright Buc
  19. Oak ridge sportsman assoc? Norris goes out to 200
  20. ORSA is your only real option for 300 yards akaik

    Oh Shoot

Hey Mr. Popular, your in box is full Anyway, I called her again. She doubted it was not included but is sending another one.
  22. no accounting for someone actually using their brain.
  23. so anyone up for a trip to the range this weekend?
  24. just this past weekend there were like 5 of us sharing one bench, and we were the least crowded bench. Must have been 75 people there
  25. no OS is wrong, the place is ALWAYS way over crowded on the weekends, I doubt I will ever go there again.
