My favorites. The IGA does Broasted Chicken. If it is fresh it is the best ever. Nothing compares. I will wait for them to make mine if need be, Hitching Post. It was all over Cincinnati back in the day. I think there is one still. Carry out orders came in a yellow box with a horse's face/horseshoe logo. You ordered half a chicken. Four pieces with fries, cole slaw and a roll. Four pieces then were not like now. Chicken was normal sized then. Publix was awesome in Florida and I assume it is here too. FWIW they have the best subs I have had. Their Cuban was amazing in Florida. Bojangles. I love the three piece dinner. Always get fries and cole slaw. With the biscuit it is near too much food for one. Ask for hot sauce packets. Others receiving votes : Browns, Popeyes

uh, Pretty sure that KFC ad campaign is tongue in cheek. Specifically a play on the fact the Col. Sanders is now played by a second actor. So which one is the real Colonel? That place went downhill when they became mega sized.

Street view does not show my place. Some others guys house up on the road. But I have covered it all in foil just to be safe.

I bet I have near enough credit limit on cards to pay off my house. I use one that pays me back. It is the only one I use. I basically buy whatever on it, bills, purchases etc then go pay it the next day online. I can get gift cards back. It is like free money. I have worked hard to pay my bills and have good credit. It is important.

Fear The Walking Dead (Los Angeles spinoff)
Mike.357 replied to monkeylizard's topic in General Chat
Travis' ex wife sort of made it seem to be life threatening. Shattered bones and dying tissue and all that. I was surprised that he did not tell the Army woman during the interview. -

I heard all that and was not sure to make of it. Not sure if Daniel lied about family in El Salvador or about his cousin. -

I think Travis will figure it out. He seems adaptable. Daniel might be a great asset for them. Don't think his cousin is going to come get his family. And I am sure I will watch it again but did they purposely not tell the Army lady about the injured woman? She is in bad shape with the foot injury. I think most people would have asked the Army for help with her. And obviously there is still no real clue as to what is going on. Blood splatter does not make people sick. Heck of a head shot anyway. I think it is turning into a pretty good show. -

Knoxville Allowing Fair to Prohibit Guns in a Park
Mike.357 replied to Just2Honor's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
glad Haslem is a pro gun governor. Imagine what he'd say if he was a anti gun governor. Of course he will say he is all about 2A. -
if one shows up I will politely ask them to leave. If they hesitate I will be less polite. They can ramp it up if they choose to. Maybe push will come to shove but I will not comply quietly, especially after reading up on this crappola.

not so sure he will see that. -
they have always been 40 round boxes as far as I know. Going back 6 years or so anyway. Decent plinking ammo anyway.
-
if I was going to get one I'd go with .38/.357 I have had some guns that aren't practical, just fun to own and shoot sometimes. Nothing wrong with it. Probably end up spinning it around and shoot myself.

I'd like this twice if I could!

thanks for all the replies. I am putting this piece of mail in the round file. I get little gov't aid, re: NONE. If it costs a few bucks for them to track me down then so be it. I am sure it is all budgeted anyway. My apologies if any of you feel I am wasting gooberment money (our money). I file taxes honestly. They have my name, address, social security number, ( they issued it yanno?). They have my daughter's name address and SS. I am not sure what else they need to figure out who is here. And frankly I don't care. Too bad Zero does not come in person to see me, or any other elected official. I'd like to tell him/them a thing or two.

anyone else gets this? I have already gotten two smaller demands to visit a .gov website for who knows what because I threw it out. Now I got a much larger packet demanding I comply. It goes on to tell me to respond now to avoid a personal visit by a Census Bureau interviewer. They claim it is a National Content Test. I am surprised I have seen no thread about this here. I am leaning towards throwing this in the trash too. It came addressed to "Resident" at my address. It is a 16 page booklet which reminds me of the Census crap I received in years that end in zero. Actually a 32 page booklet, half the pages are for our spanish speaking comrades. So what do you all think?

I have a grandson who turns 13 Wednesday. He doesn't remember it, not on kids his age radar. Terrorism goes on, the more terror attacks there are the less important crashing jets into two buildings in NYC becomes. Not saying it is right but just the way it is. Do they teach about it in school? Do we want them to? What version will they be taught?

people have already forgot about it. Give it another decade and it will go the way of Pearl Harbor.

Windex has never let me down. Some say ammonia is what works, some say water. I say Windex. It has both. Never had an issue. -
it kind of has a aroma about it, not sure how to describe it. Sort of a sweet smell. It does not smell like russian ammo
-
I always kind of liked how Aguila .22 ammo smelled.

I would think it is not going to be terribly difficult for the police to figure it out. I am not so sure 11 year olds can tell the same lie over and over again. If he is lying he will trip himself up.

Man's best friend, asset or liability?
Mike.357 replied to Rhodewarrior's topic in Survival and Preparedness
A good dog would be a great asset. The thing has to understand being quiet though. It is one thing to alert. if it could do that with a nudge rather than a bark it would be invaluable. Our dumb ass dog does not understand "shut up" and if I tell it to stay when it is on alert she takes off like a rocket at whatever it is. Forget coming if called. But one that is smart and obeys would be invaluable.
