Fear The Walking Dead (Los Angeles spinoff)
Mike.357 replied to monkeylizard's topic in General Chat
I wonder if Strand actually owns the house and the boat. Maybe he was an employee of the owner or some other connection? No telling what is going on. I found it odd he appeared to be packing dress clothes instead of something practical like jeans and tees. I do not approve of this turn of events. Would rather see the group head to the desert or see the story abandon LA and tell it from another direction. -
I had a bobcat walk down one of my trails right by the house a few weeks ago. I'd about believe any cat story now. Had a mule and a horse pop out of the woods onto my driveway a week ago. Nothing surprises me anymore. The Martin boy story is really sad, knew of it.

the way Strand was packing I assumed he has a way to get to the yacht. What did I miss? I still am not sure why he wanted the junkie with him, and now the junkies mostly worthless family unit. -
Hillary Clinton announced new gun-control measures
Mike.357 replied to The Legion's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Close the so called gun show loop hole. What excuse will they use when that is a big fail? If my neighbor and I want to trade guns who would know? How would anyone prove anything. It is so dumb it is laughable that she thinks this will do anything. It is pandering. A person intent on killing will get it done anyway. -
In 2010 Jones and Cincinnati only won four games, Half of those wins were non conference. In 2011 they went 10-3 with 5 wins against non conference opponents including wins over NC State and Vanderbilt. IN 2012 Jones and the Bearcats went 10-3 with with 5 out of conference wins. Including a bowl win over an ACC team. To say Jones could only beat weak conference teams is simply not true. Jones is a decent enough coach. UT fans have no patience.

My all time favorite .22 rifle. One of them was also my first. I have a second one now, always on the lookout for a third. The kid will love it.

So what is the angle for the black man in jail with the junkie? What does he need him for? -
you might have grease in the gas hole. How is the seal on the gas rod cover?

can't believe no one mentioned it. If anyone had shot that Barrett with their eye resting on the scope it would have been a bloodbath for the shooter. I kept waiting for Travis to pull the trigger, then WHAM to the eye. This episode really showed how bad it could get and how fast. One question during Story Sync was if the Army Captain was killed by the "infected" or if he was fragged. I voted Infected. I love Daniel's voice tone and how he speaks. -
witnessed it first hand a few times.

from their website Aged at Sea takes older bourbon barrels and brings it around the world. Stopping in 5 different continents and crossing the equator 4 times,

It is not rare just a little harder to get on a regular basis. You should be able to find it in most any liquor store. And if you did not know, the point of Ocean is to mimic the effect of shipping whisky on river barges back in the day. Now they take it a step further and float it over the equator a few times to cause temperature extremes and more sloshing around in the barrel. This adds to the body and flavor of the spirit.

I use a generous portion of ice in whisky drinks with a near equal amount of water added. My liver is in the Mayo Clinic for a tune up.
-
The barrels the Sinatra is aged in are scored on the inside to allow more surface space for the spirit to interact with the wood. Supposed to give it more depth and flavor.
-
in general water is whisky's friend. It disperses flavor. And fwiw if any of you are interested we have several bottles of the Jack Daniel's Sinatra 100th Birthday. $460. One Liter. This stuff is very limited. The case it comes in is cool. It looks like a gun safe (probably coincidence not on purpose.)

Post up your requirements for the sale when you put up the for sale ad. It is in very poor taste to add them after someone makes an offer. Pretty simple. If someone wants what you are selling they will go along with it. Those requirements are a deal breaker for lots of us, but why would you care?

Fear The Walking Dead (Los Angeles spinoff)

Not knowing the format of Fear it is hard to predict. Is next season a continuation of this story in LA, or will the depiction of societal breakdown continue to be told in another city or country? I really wonder if we will see Nick or Griselda again. Daniel told the story of community members be taken away and never being seen again in his home country. That along with what appears to be a cleansing by the military, of infected and none infected alike makes me think this. What about Travis' ex wife? How many days have been depicted so far? -
if you are responsible a CC can be a good thing. If you are not responsible then you will have issues. It is pretty simple.

The Old Forester Birthday Bourbon came out. If I understood correctly Knoxville got 11 bottles of it. We got three, they are gone. Good luck in your search.

People think that. On another very large forum for firearm enthusiasts one member made a bet in general he could not be found based on what information he believed was available to anyone searching for him. Within 45 minutes he had gotten an email from another member with his name address and phone number. Don't think the internet is anonymous to someone who knows how to look.

Knoxville Allowing Fair to Prohibit Guns in a Park
Mike.357 replied to Just2Honor's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
How do they justify allowing guns when there are gunshows but not during a fair? I have openly bought a gun on the steps. In full view of KPD. And now I'd be subject to police interference?
