  2. nice looking Mark, you do anything for IWB yet?
  3. just whip it out and let the little sucker do his thing. There, I just saved 7.5 mil And to anyone who finds breastfeeding offensive or even worse, erotic. You need to get a damn life.
  4. I have had this happen before on my BP revolvers. Was hard to believe what I was seeing at first. Instarust, LOL I learned from trial and error to just use warm water. And basically warm water is just to help the soap do it's thing better. As for salts in corrosive ammo I hear people say ammonia takes care of it, and others say it is the water. I just stick to what I have been doing for years. If for no other reason ther windex dispensor makes it all real easy to do.
  5. see you then at the usual time, assuming they open at the usual time.
  6. I wanna go, might have better luck moving that rifle there than the show last week. Saturday or Sunday?
  7. Been using generic windex forever. Works great. On the Mosin I wet patches with it and run them through the chamber and barrel a few times. Then use a few dry patches. Wipe off the bolt face with it. Then lightly oil like on any other rifle. Have never seen any ill affects.
  8. aint there is a winner
  9. I am looking forward to abusing the Buck next week.
  10. the dude ain't stupid, he might be being controlled or brainwashed. Nothing would fly past my tin foil hat. what he is doing really just flabberghasts me. How could a sane competent person do what he does. What's the explanation?
  11. always action the lever with authority
  12. i dunno if dirty brake fluid matters. I have changed front pads once and rear pads never. Never rotated out brake fluid. But like i said changing fluids can't hurt.
  13. I'd like to think that is not in jest
  14. Right on 56. OP go with what was posted here. MY 99 F150 has 193,000 in. you never go wrong changing fluids. If you want to keep it forever never miss an oil change. If you are gonna dump it none of that crap matters. IMHO you did not make a bad decision.
  15. I will argue that point. You put an edge on a cheap Chinese folder that has lastest a month. My old EDW (everday worker) a Swiss would need a new edge a few times a week. That Chink knife is still gtg. I think you can put a helluva edge on a blade. When I dull the Buck I am gonna get you to edge it for me. I can shave with it now. No kidding
  16. I gotta say that is signature line stuff for TGO sometimes.
  17. Mac i think you are preaching to the choir. And I also think as a blanket statement all politicians try to take care of themselves and get reelected. Yeah there are exceptions, but overall. What the founders thought, wrote or meant does not come into that. What screws us is that the founders also believed in state(local) rule. Well I suppose it does not screw us. But for argument local rule allows for state interpretation of carrying guns. The locals don't want us carrying. Quik does nothing to advance that cause. Even though what he does is legal it ain't helping nothing. And may well set precedent for hurting us. What the founders meant means nothing, what they said and how it is interpreted by SCOTUS is what matters.
  18. beautiful rifle Nate, dunno about home defense but a real beauty
  19. hahahahahaha, not as nice as a Buck i have now
  20. i managed to get a pic of it today, here it is
  21. the edge ain't gonna matter. The tang is like a pencil
  22. good choice Gordon
  23. not a good show for me, tried to sell and barely got five looks, maybe one half serious. I did not see much buying going on. OS got the hard sell for a sword, funny stuff. That'l teach him to say five dollar knife ever again.
  24. geez it is one bullet, you are responsible for loading your mags. I am not sure how you almost blew up your gun as you noticed it before ever loading it up. It is one freaking round, move on.
