one thing aside from the Check Point Charlie/Garand picture that stands out to me from that day was Gunslinger choosing the M1A as the rifle he wanted to shoot first when we were at the range. The look on his face as he handled that rifle was like two old friends meeting again after a long seperation.

sorry if my first post sounded like a seat belt lecture, was not my intent at all. I absolutely agree with your candy comment. Should be no laws to make person wear one, motorcycle helmet for that matter, and bicycle helmets for kids either. Not sure how I lasted this long without gov't intervention. I wish I could turn the thing off in the wifes car. That thing starts ringing within five feet of movement and won't ever stop. On my 99 truck it never makes an audible warning and the dash board warning light turns off after a minute or so.
