Marvin has very little input over player discipline. Thats all on Brown, all on him. The team has no full time scouting department, the coaches do it all and Brown always has final say. They are lucky to have Marvin Lewis. You guys that do not follow the Bengals and read Cincinnati sports news every day for the last twenty or forty years really don't know.

Exactly it is the Bengals. Two division titles and the most wins as coach makes Marvin pretty secure. I am not sure how any NFL head coach controls players off the field so that crap is not Marvin's fault. In 8the years he has two awful seasons, two titles, and four so-so seasons. Compare his 8 years to what went on there in the lost decade of the 90's and his record is pretty good. Mike Brown is the problem. Not Marvin Lewis. Heck Marvin has worked miracles there.

Not sure how the the Bengals fire the owner of the team. Nice thought though. Wasn't Marvin coach of the year in 09? He is not to blame. The guy plays the hand he is dealt. They have a solid coaching staff now. The Bengals have had incredible success since hiring Marvin compared to some of the years before him.

I am absolutely thrilled that Carson was paroled from the Bengals. I wish him nothing but the best of luck with the Raiders and the balance of his NFL career. It is a win win deal for a Bengal fan such as myself. I love the guy, my favorite player in the league. He has been much maligned for wanting out. And much maligned for a sub par season last year. People tend to forget he led them to a division title in 09. I don't think any QB could have won with Chad and TO last year. Chad can't run a route, and TO brings an extra prima donna the team didn't need, not to mention having had the worst OC in the league. Carson did not stand a chance. He saw any window of opportunity for success as having passed and wanted out. I don't think he was wrong. I still don't. The Bengals have a new face for the franchise in Red Dalton and now they have two extra draft picks in April. People like me can finally move on from the Carson situation. Cincy fans can move on from it. I wish him nothing but the best of luck in Oakland and I hope they win a title with him. I will still be rooting for him. I wonder if they will make the punter give up #9?

They were found guilty by a jury, the jury dished a dealth penalty against one felon. the judge did not have much to do with that. I don't see a new trial happening.

sounds like you had a great time. .22's are so much fun to shoot. Had my grandson with us at the range today he shot .22's and 9 mm and even some .38 specials. He had a big time thanks to Dolomite and his wife who let Cameron shoot his .22 AR and he was digging shooting the rifles with the suppressor on it. He was ringing steel with everything out to 120 odd yards. but his favorite is doing mag dumps with the 22-45. It was great.

there was a lot of .22 action going on today.
