  1. there is a new pizza buffet in Halls, where the old Mandarin House used to be. You are missing out.
  2. I watched it On Demand Tuesday night ,Walking Dead Monday night. I thought it was really good, lots of violence and several story lines to keep up with. I honestly don't know how any one can watch this stuff the night it airs though. Commercials are freaking brutal,
  3. Thorogood boots. Made in wisconsin. Google it and there are a lot of options available. Very happy with the pair i have had for about a year.
  4. Ouch Glad it is a joke
  5. Cover your balls in crisco too
  6. Action is quicker than reaction
  7. If someone tried to rob me of cash or wallet they might get five bucks. I never carry cash over five dollars and never carry a wallet.
  8. Using crisco over the ballet will help keep the fouling soft as well as lube the cylinder pin
  9. no big deal there. Haiti being an island is not threat to us.
  10. i am pretty well worried about zombies. EMP's, nuke attacks. ice and weather, solar flares. You are all paranoid,
  11. thanks trb, I am still pumped up. CJ played in the first half but was a no go in half number 2
  12. not sure what you didn't understand Doc
  13. Oh yeah, go Ravens!
  14. qb's aren't supposed to have to run for 100 yards. How about Andy Dalton and the Bengals? There is a guy who plays within himself and has success. No int's, and some TD's. I am about to bust. And how about Carson and 3 TD's? they lost in spite of Tebow.
  15. I am living large. I don't know how I could be happier. They got the Steelers twice then the Raven's and Browns once each in the next four weeks. I will call the Pitsburgh games losses as well as the Ravens, but they will beat the Browns. 7-5 after twelve weeks? Are you kidding me? I had guessed about 2-10 after twelve weeks. They beat the stinking Titan's I am good to go.
  16. How 'bout them Bengals? Shut down the stinking Titans in the second half and lay some smack down!! Where was Chris Johnson? Hiding on the bench? HAHAHAHA woooooo hoooooooo Who Dey 6-2, yeah it's the Bengals! they may well lose every game left but they beat Tennessee. I am happy as a pig in slop. i am not sure how I could be happier even if they won a super bowl. thats what I am talking about!
  17. attack of Fort Sumter
  18. if you are in the car there will be no problem. If someone who has no permit is alone with the gun there is potential for lots of problems. This from first hand experience. If you have to get out of the car my advice is to take the gun with you.
  19. not five rounds mags, the cadence of the shots is exactly the same every time. I at least switch it up and do double taps, LOL
  20. you may well find that 40 grain bullits work better than 36 grain hollow points for accuracy. I have never done barrel break in on a .22 and never noticed any issues. My Model 60 was not cleaned for twenty years and had no adverse effects really. When I did finally clean it enough lead to make a bullet came out though, LOL. I do bore snake them after shooting now, doubt it hurts anything. 3 passes only with it. And like Dolomite said, if you are testing different rounds it takes 20 or 25 rounds for the barrel to adjust to the different bullit. I assume that is from the lube on the bullits and each brand is going to be different. If I am testing rounds I will bore snake it between brands but then allow for about ten shots to refoul the barrel for accuracy.
  21. I shoot my '58 with about 20 grains, then top it off with some grits. That way when I seat the ball it is close to the forcing cone. A little dab of crisco over the ball and it is good to go. I have never put more than 35 grains in mine, I don't see the point to it anyway. It shoots good with the load I mentioned. The size of ball you are using will effect things too. While a .451 ball does not seat as well as a .454 ball, I find it is more accurate. But each one of them guns is different. Mine has a 5.5 inch barrel, if your is longer it will change things. I don't believe you could grenade the cylinder by overloading with BP. Not sure about Pyro or other BP substitutes. Fun guns to shoot for sure. You can also get a cylinder for it that will allow you to shoot .45 Colt cowboy ammo. Of course that cylinder costs about as much as the gun did.
  22. I never thought of anyone loading just ten rounds to keep it all even. Now there is no way to guess what kind of pistol it might be, LOL. A few years ago I was the only one shooting around here, now there are several people who shoot guns somewhere near here. Seems I always hear gunfire on days there has been a gun show. Sometimes I will hear one guy shooting, then in short order I will hear another guy shooting. Sometimes I start shooting to answer their call. I am glad there are other gun people around here. I always kind of assumed everyone here has something in their house that goes bang. Next time I am gonna shoot my 995 to confuse them
  23. I said what I meant
  24. I am not a hunter but what was he going to do if you just went and got it?
  25. Yeah thats it, it was a 995, planet of the apes model from the sound of it.
