I have shot them before, they are solid. As long as the trap door is tight and shuts like it should I would not worry about it.

Dolomite made a holster for me for my SP101 and I don't hesitate to carry it. Don't feel outgunned with it. It shoots well and at least on the range I can hit with it. Have not been in a gun fight so I dunno about that, and I hope I never know about that. I don't find it too heavy to carry either. Once you wear it for a while it will become a part of you just like any other carry gun should.

I have broke them rods before, no big deal. Buy another one then you have spare pieces. I just use bore snakes now, not sure how they are not doing the job. I find the key to cleaning is to run a CLP soaked bore snake through the barrel then let it sit for a while and give the chemical a chance to do its thing. And even though you feel it was your fault the rod broke, Walmart ain't gonna care. Take it back.

How much force does the receiver take when a round goes off? I would think the chamber is key. I always figured a hex receiver was faster to make.

It is up to the owner at my work. Nothing specifically prohibits it. He has a permit and carrys in his car and at other times. In discussing guns with him i have made it clear i always have something with me. Most of the time i am the last one out of the building. I believe this has a lot to do with why he allows it. If i was overpowered and hurt i would be laying there until the next day. Often i am sure i am the only person in thhe complex when i leave. I am thankful i work for someone who understands.

My gi model had similar issues when it was new. I fuxed with the extractor and learned to use grease not oil for lubing. Problem solved. I really believe grease was the savior. And it run now no matter what mag i use. I prefer ten dollar 7 rounds mags
