Unless 30-30 makes a mixto version their stuff is 100% agave. Mixto tequila is easy to figure out, if the bottle does not say 100% agave it is cut with neutral grain.

Dolomite told me about that at the range last week. It is weird for sure. I almost think someone did something inadvertantly when charging a purchase he made. Who knows? The big lesson here is to check all credit card statements closely every month so something like this does not slide by. I have used CTD since long before Al Gore invented the internet. I noticed that right at the first couple of posts, LOL. But it is all good. Most people lump bourbon and TN whiskey into the same group. Really the only big difference between JD and bourbon is the charcoal filtering. Of course different bourbons use variation on grain. And of course their water source makes some difference.

cheap hootch will hurt you more than higher dollar stuff. And you hit it right on the head assuming it is impurities. There is a reason some liquor costs more than others. As for Blends like 7 Crown or Kessler, it doesn't much matter. Go cheap, all the blended whiskeys have a substantial amount of neutral grain spirit (vodka) in them. Canadian whiskey's like Crown Royal, Canadian Mist, Canadian Deluxe are all pretty similar in taste. They are all blended and a little sweeter but should not have vodka cut into them. You pay more for the hangover factor. Again impurities. I like Canadian whiskey personally. We sell a label of lower dollar bourbon. It is cost effective and tastes okay, but I ain't drinking it nor will I name it here, LOL

Strick, yanno Jose is almost half vodka. There are several brands of 100% agave tequila in the same price range. Look for Agavales. Its good stuff.

I dunno what happened to Dolomite but I have bought from them for as long as I can remember and have not had a problem.
