  1. I never accused anyone of being a liar or a cheat. got it? It is obvious what is in a spam can, marked or not. An oil can, tool pouch and sling do not weigh that much. Regardless, all I was saying is I would be contacting them to see about returning the ammo or purchasing it. Someone made a mistake shipping it.
  2. my mother in law has asked me in the past if my guns were registered. I just say no,. She has warned me several times that I am going to get in trouble for not registering them. I just tell her that "the man" don't scare me none.
  3. Patrick can't catch a break. Her problems were not her fault this week. I'd like to have seen her run well. Now I am down to rooting for Mark and Tony.
  4. its pretty obvious whats in them spam cans. Justify it any way you want. I'd call and ask them what they want to do. Certainly you should not have to pay shipping. An employee made an error. Just sayin
  5. Did you call whoever you bought the rifles from and let them know about the ammo? Just cause they sent it does not make it right to just up and keep it. I could not do it, would have to let them know about it.
  6. fourteeen laps in and I have already have told Waltrip to STFU at least five times. He is the most over rated race announcer there is. I blame the wreck on a green track too. Sadler did not do anything wrong. Not like he tagged the 48 car hard.
  7. Would love to see Smoke win it. It is going to be a sketchy race. Rubber washed off the track. Running at night with very limited night practice. Can't work on the setups before the race. I am guessing there will be a competition yellow by lap 20 to give them a chance to see what tires are doing. I m thinking almost anyone could win this race.

Those failures are most likely mag related. Tighten the feed lips.
  9. Shane needs to take andrea and gtfo. Both have worn out their welcome on the farm
  10. If i only had a half acre i would rethink shooting on it. That is not very big. I shoot in my woods sometimes, but have a dirt pile backstop and a hill behind that. I try hard to be courteous about time of day too. Never had cops called on me yet. And +1to talking to your neighbors. Everything does not need to involve police.
  11. Awesome i will be home by then. If i was in daytona i'd go, i am guessing they will open it up to anyone who wants to watch it ticket or not. I'd be suprised if they fill 30%?
  12. I am hoping they can't get it in until after 5 tonight. Can't remember the last time i missed it. Had the whole weekend planned around watching.
  13. geez get busy going to dinner and hunting down a TV and I miss all the fun. I did not mind the dude but though his screen name sucked.
  14. if you can find them, it will launch the crap out of grenades. But seeing as grenades are destructive devices they are hard to come by. I recommend getting a golf ball launcher for it. I have one and it shoots the crap outta them. Blank rounds are not hard to come by and neither are golf balls. Shoots them hundreds of yards. All kinds of fun can be had.

I don't get the break down comparison to a MkIII. Simple to break down and only takes a little jiggling to reassemble. heck I don't even mind the sticky bolt. The rifle is bad ass looking. very naughty. Not quite evil for a black rifle. And like Garoof said, the spring loaded butt makes it painless to shoot such an awesome high powered round.
  16. assuming that the rear keeper is the thingy that holds the rear barrel band in place I need one, mine is broke off.
  17. Buc, do you have any interest in parting with one of the rear keepers?
  18. I am doing my personal best to start a ammo shortage, well short for sale, not short for possession of.
  19. There is nothing wrong at all with wearing a flag patch on your hat or sleeve.
  20. with the amount of money on the line, being a very nice looking lady is not near enough to get her a seat in the highest level of stock car racing in the world. While being an attractive female does not hurt her don't kid yourself that she is not qualified and incredibley talented
  21. is that story a joke? You gotta be kidding me, arrest, strip search over a freaking picture? The world has lost its mind. And if everyone threatening to write in Ron Paul come the general election does that we will see this same crap happen here someday.

I got one. It shoots just fine. There are two issues with it though. One of the features of the TS model is that the bolt stays open after the last round of a mag. On mine if I don't immediately drop the mag and release the bolt it gets very hard to release. This problem seems to get worse as the round count in a range session increases. It has gotten a little better over time and about 1000 rounds through it But it still sticks. The other issue I have had is light primer strikes. The light primer strikes is not inherent on just the TS, the Planet of the Apes model does it too. But Hi Point will send out a firing pin assembly and it is very easy to change out. I have had to call twice about this issue. Changing the assembly does seem to fix things, for a while. They are a good 250 dollar range gun, accurate enough and fun to shoot.
  23. Go Smoke
  24. I caught my leaf covered dirt pile on fire once with tracers. Good times
  25. Yep going to the hills. To steal someone elses line from another thread "hey BK whas up? Got any food?" No Mike, ate it all in the last couple of days, ask the people sitting there next to us, maybe they got some" I ain't leaving until forced to. Got a three day setup in the truck so i could maybe get home.
