  1. okay.  I am going to ask the stupid question.     Is there a pic of this?   What other thread is it in?  What did I miss?   Your Runt4 was the pinnacle of knives for me.  But I am interested.  ( and glad you are still here to show this to us)
  2. Knoxville.   If you are offered one for more money you are being ripped off.   All of our spirits have the same percent of mark up.  We do not rip people off.  Other stores have different ideas on how to price product.
  3. Mrs Monkey I'd pull a string and come up with one for you.
  4. I think it is (IIRC) 74.99
  5. I had a .40 and sold it all,  then I missed it.  So I am back in the .40 game again.
  6. I sold my first bottle of Van Winkle tonight.  I have stayed out of it.     But I have a customer who seeks me out about every week and asks if we have any Elmer.  I always tell him no and we chuckle.  I keep telling the guy to keep on asking as some day it will show up.  He then buys something else.   Tonight he showed up and asked about Elmer.  I told him no but thanks for coming in.  And told him if he wanted I had a bottle of 12 year old Van Winkle for him, if he was interested.  He grabbed his chest and took a step back.  It was sort of funny.  Was happy to sell it to him.    He also bought a handle of Jack.  Told me he could not wait to take a pic and text his buddies about what he got.    It made tonights shift fun.
  7. why convert to 9mm?   .40 is as good or better.  And you are already set up to shoot the stuff.
  8. I firmly believe our military should advertise all munitions are dipped in pork fat.   I ain't kidding.   Screw the Muzzies.  ( i am not sure who coined that word but I like it)   Until they go on air and vilify Muslim terrorists I believe that are all the same. I don't know who this was but a guy spoke on one of the fake news networks and said something to the effect that you never hear anyone yell " Hooray Jesus" before killing people.
  9.     I was referring to innocent until proven guilty.  Get arrested for anything and you are guilty until you prove otherwise.
  10.     WTF is wrong with people? How does anyone see a 7 year old and think "boy I'd like for screw her!"  How do multiple people think the same thing?   I'd be happy to pull the trigger on them.  Save everyone effort.  Nah, on second thought a bullet is too good for them.  A .22 is worth more.   Kill them with fire.
  11. you don't really believe that is how it works when you are arrested do yo         (Edited for a missing word)
  12. why would they allow a bond of any amount if they believe this is the killer?
  13. David nailed it.     We almost refused delivery of it to avoid the headache of it all and to make a statement about how the distillers try to manipulate prices by hyping it up and then limiting the release.  It would not be the first time we have refused to sell a product.  The boss puts his money where his mouth is.   Elmer T Lee is the golden swan now.  Daily people come in and ask for it. Mostly people I have never seen before. The last I saw of it was months ago where a rogue case showed up. 6 bottles mind you.  We still kept it on the shelf for about 33 bucks though.  Other stores would have doubled or tripled that price.  The stuff used to sit forever and collect dust.  Same with Weller 12 two years ago.   If you want a bottle of good bourbon try Jim Beam Black Label ( or double aged, whatever they call it now)  You can buy it every day of the week.
  14.   I have had a lot of tree work done in the last two years.  There is no cheap tree service.   But it is worth it to not die or to prevent more costly damage.   I found the best way to save money is to not have them haul the wood off.  People think they can turn it to firewood and make a buck but they weren't very interested in that.  I am lucky I have enough woods that they can leave it near where the tree was or dump it in a spot I keep wood and rock.
  15.     They likely got some.     You are exactly the kind of customer we would sell to.  Someone who shops there regularly and spends money is who we try to sell it to.  What we tried to avoid is trophy hunters who only show up to try and cherry pick then you never see them again until the next time something limited arrives.   I liken it to .22 ammo and the hoarders who have screwed that up.  Don't deal with re-sellers.  If they get stuck with it they won't take it all up next time.   There is plenty of good or better whisky on the shelf all day long.
  16.   Not at malls they wouldn't,  they are pretty much all posted,
  17. anyone with half a brain would figure they are here already.
  18.     Right, and there is that kind of counting too.
  19.     I also assumed it was where the electronic was inside the car that may have not killed it completely.
  20. so basically end of days is for however long someone want to reference it being?   Every side will have a difference answer.   Them people have been killing and fighting since the beginning of time.  It will never stop.
  21. myth busters did a bit on emp attacks a few years ago.   IIRC they put a car under a simulated emp device.  While it disabled the car for the most part there were still working electronics on it.   fwiw.
  22. how long will the end of days last?
  23. who made the pistol?
  24.     You hypothesis would not surprise me at all.  These people think in terms of generations.  We think in terms of years.  Easily these perps ( for lack of a better word) were born in France.
  25. I look at this site sometimes when stuff happens in the world.  This was from Friday.  Kind of odd in a way.  Was something averted?
