Seen some of it done before. I found it humorous that most of the actors were too old and too fat to be realistic.

I hope Ned's youngest daughter pokes him in the balls with her little sword. The show is great stuff. Hard not to like something with female nudity in it. Especially when they really don't need to show it. I dig the imp too. He is not scared of much of anything.

Not found in the woods aside from our house being in the woods. Last night around midnight two horses and a donkey showed up raising a fuss. Turned out they escaped from about a thousand yards or so away from their home up the ridge. Was about as much fun as the day the bull was munching on my backyard

I don't think it much matters aside from a walmart. Call around to tire stores and go to where you get the best price. I have bought tires over the years from all kinds of places. In the end there was no real difference aside from price. The last tires i bought were from Pep Boys near east town. They were fine to deal with. Before that NTB they were very nice too. Price is king.

Don't think this is how the "stand your ground law" works

I still don't understand why Martin did not call 911 himself. And or why he did not just run off or maybe stand his ground and identify what he was doing. Of course this all assumes he was not up to no good. My prediction is no conviction against zimmerman and Martin's family will win big in a civil suit. -
How to spin my stuff. Obama instructs reporters

Well he is the president and no one should be seeking the truth in what he says. News agency's seem to bow down and beat his drum anyway. What is it that he wants? -

This is thread had turned into beating a dead horse. There is no real new info, the case is being investigated and the media is running out of new angles. Not so sure there is much more to comment on now. -
meh, reading the Comic and looking forward to Sunday nights with Game of Thrones

Would have loved to have gone to it. Someday maybe. I will have to settle for seeing you at the next Knoxville show.

Obama To Push Gun Ban In Name of Trayvon!

Maybe i am just paranoid about it. I would put nothing in the "no way" realm with this admin. -
Obama To Push Gun Ban In Name of Trayvon!
Mike.357 replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The white house is not going to mention any type of gun ban now. They will deny it until obozo gets a second term. If he is booted but somehow the dems retain the senate and gain back the house i think they will push it hard while he is a lame duck. -

If not in Martin's name then they would trump up another reason. -
I have seen some blackberry wine re-ferment as it sat bottled. It would start bubbling all over again. I had a bit of some pokeberry wine he made. tasted slightly sour but Dan claimed that it helped arthritis and stiff joints.

I have never had any problem with his screw tops or plastic jugs, LOL but typically what he gives me does not last very long anyway.
-
I am curious why you can't use bottles with screw top caps. A friend of mine in Indiana makes wine, he typically uses screw tops or plastic half gallon jugs ( like juice or milk comes in.) What kind of wine are you making? My preference is locust blossom.

IIRC the paperwork that comes with a Garand from CMP states that bullets be 158 grains or less to safely shoot. Privi and Federal make 150 grain ball ammo. It looks identical to milsurp M2 ball ammo, recoil feels the same too. I have shot a lot of the Privi and some of the Federal through my Garand. Seemingly with no ill effect. My op rid looks normal, the rifle cycles fine.

Question about inheriting guns across state lines
Mike.357 replied to Bassoneer's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
if a relative intended for me to have a firearm after their passing I would just bring the gun home and not worry about it. it is not like I am going to use it for nefarious reasons, and not like it is being sought for having been used in a crime. don't over think it. -
the mag wobble is from the lack of dimples that other AK variants have. Those dimples are on either side of the magwell and stop it from wiggling I guess. My WASR has some mag wobble but I don't notice it when firing and it does not bother me in the least. You can google WASR mag wobble and find a fix for it. Basically one would slap some JB weld on either side of the inner magwell to build it up. Then dremel out the excess until the mag fits tight. Seems like a waste of time to me. The guns run fine as they are. the 10 part of the descriptor is from the rifles originally being set up to use a single stack magazine that held ten rounds. They are modified to allow for a normal 30 round mag to fit. It definitely bothers some AK snobs, mainly those that look down upon the WASR on account of its price.

from your experience as a police officer you ought to know that "arrest first and let the DA sort it out" is often the solution officers in the field take. i am not the least bit suprised by their request. -
the dropping of alcohol content pissed a lot of people off. One of my drivers first hand saw an old guy throwing a fit saying that the store owner had not informed him of the change. the old guy said "you ruined my batch!" among other things. I did not think it was going to be a strong product for us, but I was wrong. Our label does very well.

I know one thing for certain, I hope that Zimmerman's story is proven correct and he is cleared of any wrong doing. If for no other reason than Dave has to admit he was wrong. It would be a first.
