I don't see cleaning for corrosive as a real problem, it just concerns me when a brand is advertised as non corrosive and it turns out that it is corrosive.

I saw some of Romney's speech this morning on Fox. Maybe they edited it, dunno. But when he mentioned his support for gun rights he specifically mentioned sportsman, people defending their homes, but neglected to mention people who carry a firearm for personal defense off of their property. Maybe I interpreted what I heard wrong. But seems that he left a door open.

Fwiw Obama has nothing to do with property taxes. At least dislike him for legitimate reasons

Don't think this is how the "stand your ground law" works

The jockeying is in full swing. The woman who is to be the judge is married to an attorney who is somehow involved with zimmerman's attorney. She has offered to recuse if either side wants her to. Fox reported Zimmerman's attorney may ask she do just that when they meet about his bail situation next week. A good attorney will delay delay and delay. Looks like the plan -
the muzzle brake screws down as far as it can then locks into place. You can back it off a turn but not make it tighter. Like the mag wobble I can"t see what difference it makes. It doesn"t cause problems. i changed out the original muzzle break for an AR style flash hider. it fit tighter but totally changed the POI. Just leave it alone. Mine is a heck of a rifle, I assume yours is too.

heck they might have just not been able to pul it off. Maybe they are still too far in the dark ages to shoot a rocket.

if it might have come out of a spam can or comes out of a sealed sardine tin treat it as if it is corrosive. If you bought it under the KSAP banner consider it corrosive. Never had a problem with ammo out of a Wolf box.

fairly accurate depiction of events imho. at the minimum it looks like a good use of self defense. -
I am disregarding any of the spoilers based on the book. To me it is sort of like Walking Dead the tv show and comparing it to the comic books. Apples and oranges,

Gordon you are ate up with quietness. LOL Your suppressor is quieter than my grandson's Red Ryder. I wish you could legally make and sell them. yours is better than anything else I have ever heard.

If that was true certainly mine would have had failures by now. Mine is so dirty no light shows through it. And if it did a drop of remoil would solve it. Thanks for filling me in.

Quite possibly the most perfect rimfire rifle ever made. Self contained mag, reliable, accurate, inexpensive. Whats not to like? I bought one over 30 years ago. I am clueless as to what I actually paid for it. Around 65 dollars more or less maybe. Bought it from a pre cursor to KMart, a store called China Town. Later it became Van Luenens. Sometime later it became KMart. Not that any of that matters. The store had a row of rifles back in sporting goods. I bought the least expensive one they had. Turned out to be a real keeper. I probably shot several thousand rounds through it before it got stuck in a sack and forgotten about. There were many years where I never fired a round. Then there was a period where I would dig it out of its hiding place and shoot it on the day after Thanksgiving. Certainly there was at least 20 years where it was never shot more than 50 times a year. One box of bewlitts. About five years ago I dug it out and decided maybe I out to strip it and clean it. I pulled enough lead out of the barrel to choke a small horse. I still shoot it from time to time. Took it out of the safe today. Felt like old times. Rolling the stock through my hands. Examining the gouges and scratches on it. Looking at the design on the grip. Noticing how worn it is on the left side, the design almost worn smooth. Of course I felt the urge to feel it fire again. I took it out into the woods and put a couple hundred rounds through it. Fired like it was brand new, accurate and dependable as always. Not one failure. For a few minutes I was 19 again.

"U.S. presidential hopeful Mitt Romney vowed to gun owners on Friday he would reverse what he called the restrictive gun policies of President Barack Obama." what restrictions has Obama placed on us to date since he was elected POTUS? Have I gone brain dead and forgot something?

for anything to be done it would take another Woodward and Bernstein to bring it to light. The MSM nowdays does all it can to pander to the politicians. I doubt there is anyone out there willing to stake all they have on an investigation, much less have an employer that will back them to the end. And thats what it would take. The .gov is not going to call out one of its own.

What is the problem with the loaded chamber indicator?

I have met and hung out with a laundry list od NASCAR drivers some years back when i tried to figure out how to earn a living doing race reporting. Strip clubs were always a big thing to do when going racing. Ain't naming names since what happens on the road stays there, but you'd recognize a lot of them. One won more than one Cup titles. Of all the race people i knew only a few really impressed me. I ate lunch with Benny Parson regularly when i worked for ESPN's production company. He was seriously down to earth and a natural comedian. The King was another. Petty never failed to say hi and call me by name, even though I was only ever around him 5or 6 times. He left me in awe. Another was AJ Foyt. Met him in the cup garage at Daytona. He had an aura around him. One time while in Daytona I was going to go to dinner with a driver and some of his crew. It was just like the scene from Days of Thunder where Rowdy and Cole were in the rental cars. Those guys in three cars raced all the way, beating and banging the whole time. I will.never forget that scene. While working at the Boca Polo Club we always had celebrities coming as guests of one member or another. Several members were sports agents. One time Joe Theismann came to play. We put him in cart # 56. Cracked us up. He looked at the number and shook his head and grinned. Met Peyton several times at the club I worked at here in Knox. He was a big tipper, I always saved cart number 16 for him. As a mere pubescent lad I caddied in a foursome in a pro-am that included Archie Campbell. While that was cool enough since Hee Haw was in its prime the best part was several of the Hee Haw beauties walked the course with us. That had me going for a long time.
