  1. barrel says 4-20 cool
  2. Brown Bear is good stuff. I think, unless it sold out aim had wmp wolf ammo which is not lacquer coated. Was the same price iirc
  3. Documented by who? I pretty much distrust any media version. Dunno why my question came to mind.
  4. I just did not recall anything stating he had them on him or they were already consumed and discarded or at another location.
  5. So i am guessing if you don't know then the answer to that has not been made public.
  6. Someone might know this right off, But was Martin still in possession of his skittles and tea when he was shot? and if not, where were they? I don't recall.
  7. I think the lefty bolt is a great idea for a righty shooter. No need to lose your trigger hand grip to cycle it. I have a lefty bolt .22 and while i don't shoot right hand much it is easier to operate that way. At least at a glance you can tell if the mag still has rounds.
  8. Chuck Swan has a range, or at least it did. I have not been there in a couple of years. It had a couple of benches and target stands out to a hundred yards. No charge for using it.
  9. Vote them all out, unforunately a majority of voters probably support this bill being killed.
  10. Aim had/has cases of wolf for 209. Shipped is probably another 20 bucks give or take. It was ten bucks less the last time i bought a case maybe 5 or 6 weeks ago.
  11. I found this by googling http://www.gunsinternational.com/Springfield-1903-Mark-1-30-06-SPRG-.cfm?gun_id=100174643 What you found is probably worth twice as much. Who knows.
  12. Why the left handed bolt Gordon?
  13. I can't imagine there are people at Chuck Swan during the week, it is not too awful far from Clinton. Why can't you use a range?
  14. The first place my wife and i lived was a two family. The landlady lived upstairs. When she and her boyfriend got busy with it the noise was incredibly loud. She was a screamer. There some nights we could not sleep from our cracking up laughing. That was the only noise issue i ever had.
  15. Ask her if her life is worth a bruise or an uncomfortable grip. It is not like she is gonna practice or pounds rounds downrange anyway is she?. I'd seriously talk her into a .38 special revolver of some sort. At minimum a .32 auto, Beretta makes one that is small.
  16. Takes about a minute at the most on my keypad. I assume a safesmith could change a dial combination.
  17. Maybe it is dried up cosmoline
  18. 1-800-347-1200 Call during standard business hours. Bet you get something to replace it
  19. Whoever you bought it from prolly used a crayon to fill in the elevation marks. As for tator chips i agree. One Mosin is the same as the next. No clue why anyone needs more than one.
  20. My Henry lever says 22LR on it. Never tried any others. Actually unless wanting to be slightly quieter I am not sure why anyone wants to spend more.
  21. I use blue painters masking tape and a sharpie to mark my cans. the tape is cheap and a roll lasts a long time. And it stays put until you want to peal it off. all i write on the tape is the caliber. One can is marked range and that can has a variety of calibers in it.
  22. Wasn't there something in Zombieland about how long Twinkies would last? Myself, i prefer Hostess devils food iced Zingers. And they don't have an expiration date but rather a Best By date.
  23. Ammo is seperated by caliber inside of surplus ammo cans. I store it in a basement closet that touches no outside walls. Condensation is no issue really because of the location. I try to rotate what i am shooting but i dunno if it really matters. Some of the centerfire ammo is fifty years old and still shoots fine. I do try harder to shoot the older rimfire first though.
  24. Geez gordon is gonna shoot me when i show up.
  25. I never found much difference between shooting 22lr or 22mag out of rifles. Mags just cost more. Might as well jump on board with 9mm from a Hi Point Carbine. I enjoy shooting mine.
