a lot of people have landlines, most importantly 911 has a landline. I have debated for a while getting rid of my land phone. But I just can't pull that plug. I guess it is a symptom of old age. We do have one corded phone that does not depend on electricity to work. I ain't getting rid of it., I did lose my cordless handset once. Set it on the toolbox of the truck then later that day drove off. Never saw it again, LOL. Using the finder feature was useless.

the place where I shoot has a bar. I could go and shoot, go have beers and then go back and shoot some more. Of course I could get rocked somewhere else and then go to the range. There is nothing stopping me from doing that other than personal responsibility. I see this whole deal as a non issue.

that is not what I was told by children's services when we went through this crap for my oldest grandson. The mother has custody in TN.

tn law states that the mother has custody of a child. There is nothing a mother can do to have that on paper. It is assumed she is the custodial parent.. Short of that there needs to be a real court order for that to change. Sounds like a bunch of BS has gone on Mike.

exactly Blake. People go out to eat and have drinks, some have carry permits and have guns in their cars. I have not read too many stories of anyone going bat#### crazy and shooting everyone. I have a house full of guns and often have a adult beverage or fifteen, have not gone on a shooting spree just yet.

I revisited the show and am now almost through season 3. It is still largely unbelievable but I have no life and can watch it commercial free. While a lot of it seems far fetched there are some great moments and more than a few WTF moments that get me going. Will probably finish season 3 this morning, I think I have three episodes to go.

Buffalo Trace released George T Stagg and some small batch ryes very recently. I don't expect them to last very long. We have a waiting list on the Stagg, two of them were picked up within a half hour.. I dunno about spending 80 bucks on a bottle of whisky but the two who bought it were very excited. IIRC the stuff is 140 proof. Pappy should be in next month.

oh yeah. and to add I don't make anywhere near enough money to be considered middle class, unless less than 40K combined is considered that. The comment from Romney about 250 K to 200K and less just plain old pisses me off. I am not voting for him. I was, but now I am not. I hope the country falls to pieces at this point. I work my ass off to have what I have. And to have someone who wants me to back him compare me to someone making a quarter million a year just frosts my nuts. Bless those that are fortunate to make that much.. But don't expect me to think they are in the same monetary class as I am.
