it is about time a major(?) newspaper endorsed a candidate based on values and platform. Not electability. I used mine today as ID for voting. It got no reaction, nor should it have. And I wasn't carrying anyway but if someone would have asked I would not have responded.

I don't need any defense for deciding to not give service to a customer. I can refuse service just because I feel like it. The best thing the clerk could have said was "I decline to sell to you". And then keep his mouth shut.

I might be wrong but I am pretty sure any store can refuse service to anyone without having to explain their actions.

one thing though, I am sick to death that people making 200K are referred to as middle class. Good on you if you make that kind of money, but in my best earning days I never came close to six figures, and I kind of thought I was middle class, glad to know I am acknowledged as poor now.. Somehow I think my taxes are fixing to rise.

yeah, gas was cheaper a few years ago because the economy sucked? I thought gas was high because the economy was weak right now? Dollar weak= gas prices high. Am I missing something? I am going to find something to watch on netflix
