  1. The Big O just wants gun violence victims to have a vote.  Us who are responsible law abiding gun owners, he doesn't want us to have a vote.   More of the typical emotion based rhetoric he uses.
  2.   doesn't microstamping mark the primer?  And of course it will solve nothing.   Solving problems has nothing to do with gun control.   Seems to me us gunowners are doing a fine job of gun control.  Some got ammo, some got none.
  3. gives me an idea as to marking the pumpkins I am taking for targets Thursday.   Isn't there some law outlawing over riding the Constitution with treaties?   And don't doubt registration will happen, as will the order to turn them all in.  Not in my life  or yours but by our future great grandchildren's lifetimes. It is too late to turn this shit around.
  4. and fwiw it is too late to take it down.   Once on the webz always on the webz
  5. why would you post this?   I got no ammo.  Maybe if I did I might post it too.
  6. so is the US supposed to sit and wait until they actually successfuly launch a nuke our way?
  7. sounds disgusting,  hope we never stock it.
  8.   Night of the Living Dead redux maybe
  9. I wonder if the notches on the grip mean anything,
  10. I don't like people sweeping up around me when I am shooting.  Not sure how close they were to you though.
  11. turkey buzzards.  They were awful where we lived in South Florida.  They would peck out the rubber molding on car windows and tear up screened in porches for the rubber that held the screens in place.  There main line of defense was puking at whatever bothered them.  of course they were a protected species too, you could not kill them.
  12. Keene seems well spoken in that video, hard to tell from it what he can do on the fly.    I think part of what made Heston so good was his acting skills.  Of course Reagan used that to his advantage as well.
  13. A customer in the liquor store yesterday mentioned he was from Mass.  He said it is common to order people to stay off the roads when these Nor'easters hit.  He acted like it was not a big deal.  It is to aid in the clearing of roads and to not have to waste resources on helping stranded travelers.   Calling it martial law is a little over the top.
  14.   I like Chris Cox, but have not seen him speak on news shows, just webcasts and the like.  Showing my ignorance I do not know who Keene is.   Trying to separate AR owners from fudds might be a chink in their armor.     What ever happened to Tom Selleck?
  15.   While most of us here like Uncle Ted I am not sure how well he resonates with the casual gun owner or constitutionalists who are not gun people.  It is easy to see how to others he comes off as a nutjob.   If it is to be a celebrity it would need to be a more mainstream type of fellow, or woman.   But just about anyone would be an improvement over Wayne.
  16.   IMHO the NRA could find a better face and voice than LaPierre.  He is not inspirational at all, I find him to be a very poor speaker who often comes off as unprepared.   As for supporting the NRA I think we all support what they do, probably not with dollar bills though.  Even as important as the NRA is,if it comes down to sending money to them or paying for groceries, gasoline and electricity I am pretty sure where the money is going to go.  In a perfect world there would be enough money in my wallet to all for all four items, sadly there is not.   And to be very clear I do not endorse giving up the fight.
  17. great looking rifle,  I'd love to have one.  Hoping you got it for a song.
  18. I have shot lots of PRVI in several calibers,  though never in 7.62x54r.  It all shot well and went where I aimed it.   Might be too good for a nasty old Mosin.  I never have shot anything but crusty old surplus ammo out of mine.
  19.     that worked real well this time around,  The Big O is still in the white house.  How many gun owners voted for him?
  20.   Can't organize a pub crawl but can organize a vote?  I ain't falling for it.   As for sooner or later I made that very clear, 3 or 4 generations.  And don't count on an AWB not passing.  It will not come for a vote until after the next midterm elections.   Non of their tactics will fix things, duh,  but they will claim that just a little more gun control will fix things.  Same thing they do now.
  21. I only reload .357 and .38 special now, but I use mag primers.  Of course I am shooting them out of a magnum revolver.  I did not change any recipe.  The mag primers worked great.
  22. I am sorry I got to laugh at the threats to vote them out etc...  There are not enough of us to vote anyone out of any job basically.   If there was some kind of national referendum on banning guns it would be turn them in time.  Thankfully we do not live in an absolute democracy.    Sooner or later it will be turn them in time.  It is inevitable,.  Best we can hope for it to fend it off for several generations.   It is not like we are dealing from strength here.
  23. It will be posted for sale in about one month :)
  24. I don't look at it much by I imagine the crowd on Calguns is going nuts over it.
  25. I wish I could be a special guest star and be the one to kill Hines Ward.  I hate that guy.
