Thank you for the advice, this is helpful. Every time I have sold a gun it has been for cash, and if possible a carry permit, if they don't have one I still want a Tennessee issue ID. I will give the buyer my ID if they ask for it. A tip, before I buy a gun I run the serial # thru an online stolen gun data base. its usually viable in the photos. If not, I ask for it. I always show the serial #s when I post a gun for sale.
