I'm thinking with the popularity of the Sig P238, Colt now realizes they made a mistake discontinuing the original Mustang.

Just a quick info tip. I carry a CZ-82 when I don't have my Sig p238 on me. Ive found that the Fobus paddle holster for the Walther P22 works great for the CZ-82 pistol. Fit is good and works. Model # WP22. Those of you with a CZ-82, I hope this helps out as I find this to be a great pistol and a great holster to carry it with.

I carry an ITP SC2 Eluma everyday. It has been a great light with 4 modes. Low, medium, high and disco. Rated at 220 lumens and have had zero problems with it. Its discontinued now and they now have this model with the R5 emmiter rated at 270 lumens. Uses 2 CR123A batteries. I also have the Surefire L4 and the ITP performs just as well. Thats my experience and for what I use it for, I have no complaints about it.

My grocery list just got a little bit longer. -
Beautiful rifles! I have zero experience with them, but have considered the carbine to have an example of the M1. (I'm a little guy, I like a little rifle). I need a bigger safe and a bigger bank account.

I only spent few days at KAF back in 04. I remember a Pizza Hut stand being there. That was pretty cool after bouncing from FOB to FOB. I hated Bagram and every chance I got, I got away. I had a good time though, I was thrown on a team of mechanics as a rigger (because of slingloading equipment) and traveled to different FOBs installing uparmor kits. I never really stayed in one place long enough at one time to get into much trouble. I was assigned to 3rd SFG and when they left, I stayed on with 7th SFG. (CJSOTF). Costner do you remember me an WO2 Pettus? Night and day between the two groups. I actually had a SGM from 7th group tell me I could not wear my gortex because my name was not sewn on the sleeve pocket. Snow on the ground in a combat environment and this dude wants to worry about AR670-1. 3rd group guys were cool though.

Thank you all for your kindness.

I know it may seem trivial to most, but I lost one of my rats this morning. I was talking to her when she died. I knew she wasn't feeling good by the way she was acting yesterday. This morning she went into spasms and died. I'm not ashamed to admit that I have a DUI, hopefully people can learn from my poor judgement and make wise decisions. After I lost my drivers license, I bought two rats. Sofie and Amelia. They have been wonderful company to me as I could not go out and do things. Amelia died this morning and I gave her a proper burial in the back yard. I took a piece of sheet steel and engraved a marker for her. She may just be a rat, but she was a companion and will be missed.

Electronic Ear Muffs, Recomendations
EMB145 replied to Lumber_Jack's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I bought a pair of these for work and they migrated into my range bag. Not the best and bulky, but they work. Noise Canceling Electronic Ear Muffs -
I'm an aircraft mechanic at Nashville Airport. I walk around the airport drinking coffee and waiting for a flight crew to break something.

NYC gun charges dropped. Now I can Speak
EMB145 replied to JG55's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
"I was charged with felony possession of a firearm with intent to do harm." Locked in a case and then that case is locked in luggage. The city of New York is lucky no one was hurt or killed with that secured firearm. After all, the owner intended to do harm. -
I went to Basic at Ft. Polk as well in June 89. I got off active duty in 95 and finished my 20 yrs in the reserves. Hang in there to get that retirement. Its all down hill from here and thank you for your service.

I hate Waffle House and will not give them one penny of my money. July 1999. Me and two fellow reservist were heading to FT. Bragg for Jumpmaster school at JFKSWC. One guy lived in Dickson and we were taking my car, so we decided to meet at Waffle house at 1-440 and White Bridge Rd just down the street from the reserve center. Me and one guy walked into Waffle house to get a bite to eat while waiting on the other guys wife to drop him off. We went in and sat down and noone would wait on us. We sat there for about 15 minutes and not one person would even speak. We finally said screw it and went back to the car to wait on the other guy to show up. Next thing I know we are surrounded by seven Metro Police cars. The manager of the Waffle house thought we were gang members because I have a shaved head and the guy with me was wearing a bandanna. After a nice long conversation with the police, showing orders, military ID, answering questions and even opening my trunk to show our bags, the manager came out to tell us he was sorry and all that. We did not eat there and I will never eat at a Waffle House because of the treatment we received that night. Now that I know that they are posted, thats just more reason for me to never step foot in their establishment.

If you have fired a Kel-Tec P3AT, you will see the difference in the Sig. You get what you pay for. I went from the Kel-Tec to the Sig and it was money well spent. I use the plastic belt clip holster that came with it or for pocket carry, I use an Uncle Mike's size 3. (Depending on how I'm dressed for concealment). Congratulations on the new pistol. Shoot it, learn it, enjoy it, clean it, then repeat the process.

I will tell a story. August of 2010, me and my my girlfriend of 5 yrs had a bad argument. I was at home, did not plan to go anywhere. Buddy from work called and wanted to go out. I gave in to peer pressure and went out. After all, I was mad and needed to let off some steam. Long story short, I got a DUI. Lost my drivers license for 1 year. Lost my HCP for one year (it was a fight to get it back). Two days in jail, 24hrs of picking up trash along the road, 10 AA meetings and 1 year of supervised probation. This does not include the nearly $4,000 dollars I spent on an attorney, bail, fines, probation. This is all the things I had to endure by the court, not by my friends, family. I never felt so ashamed in my life. Facing my family after this and being uncertain if I would keep my job after this. Not a good feeling at all. From someone that has been there, done that, Please don't make the same mistake that I did. I'm very thankful that I did not kill anyone in my drunken decision to get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. Of all the stuff I had to face, it could have ended in a loss of life because I made a stupid decision.

Not odd at all, actually I think its damn cool. My grandfather never thew much away and saved a lot of odds and ends as well. He passed away 26 yrs ago and to this day when me or my father are working on something or have a project, my grandfathers collection of stuff comes in handy.
