  1. Not many for me. But I wanted to test a new Rohrback .380 I purchased and hadn't shot yet. So I shot 20 rounds.
  2. You're moving to TN, right? What part? When you get here, shoot me a PM and I'll see if I can get you a fun paying project to work on.
  3. A ton of .380 at the Outpost, exit #89 off I-24. Very expensive, though. The stuff with a name you'll recognize is about $.50 a round. And that's for target ****.
  4. I'm trying to imagine would be worse than being raped and then killed. Being force to watch Martha Stewart every day?
  5. Some smart entrepreneur will develop a sign package that's been vetted legally and will be selling them. Even door to door.
  6. The only thing that concerns me about a "well hidden stash" is that little kids are really curious, and they tend to find places you didn't even know existed...especially when playing hide and seek.
  7. As long as you get your TPS reports in on time, I think you'll be fine.
  8. David, if I'm free that date in October, I'd be there for sure. I do about a dozen big seminars a year, so I'm glad to donate the use of a very professional A/V system and a podium. We could use it for music, if desired, and/or speakers. I'll haul it and set it up. It'll fill several acres with sound, so however big this turns out to be will be fine.
  9. It goes both ways. If you want to be protectionist about things, just remember that people in other countries can and will do the same thing. Which hurts US manufactures, because a huge part of their market is the export market.
  10. My first concern is not jobs. The best way to keep a job in this country is for the company to apply innovation and create a unique, quality product at a fair price. If I buy something from a US company for any other reason, I view it as a bit stupid.
  11. Fringe stuff like this makes it hard to have reasonable discussions. There's 30 seconds of my life I'd like back. Such nonsense.
  12. Probably, but I'd have to hook it up to a source!
  13. BTW, the Beretta people make a holster for it. I've ordered one, but it hasn't arrived yet.
  14. That's good to here. Have you HCP'ed it at all?
  15. We can probably subtract any of them that bought something in .380 ACP since most of 'em only have a hammer at this point.
  16. Just picked up a new PX4 from G&L Friday. I think I'm going to enjoy this gun. It feels terrific. I'm still recovering from spinal surgery, so I haven't shot it yet, but here are some initial impressions. LIKE /capacity /build quality /safety mechanism /disassembly (very quick/easy, with no tools) /interchangeable backstraps (again, no tools) /rail /available with night sights /trigger pull (mine measures 4 lbs 6 ozs) /extra mags included WISH WERE DIFFERENT /a bit thick (to get the double stack mag, I guess) /pinky finger hangs off--it doesn't on the extended mag, but they're butt ugly and look nasty and unwieldy /a tad heavy, fully loaded--the frame is like a feather, but the rail/barrel is very solid--in fact, it weighs what my EMP does, both loaded
  17. You know what might be a fun contest some day at a get together is this. Have 10 members up front, 5 with and 5 without. They each have to walk back and forth once at the front. The one who guesses the most accurately in the crowd wins something.
  18. It makes no difference to me--but the good news is that gun design and manufacturing is one of the areas where the U.S. is still one of the best of breed, which is cool.
  19. He'd probably gone through the training and gotten a NCP (Notebook Concealed Permit). To be safe, you really need to post your establishment. Something like a notebook in a circle, with a big slash through it.
  20. I got to thinking yesterday that during the long years before I got into the shooting sports again, I can't remember seeing a SINGLE person carrying a "concealed" handgun that became apparent, either through printing or a lifted shirt or whatever. And I'm a very observant person. That's a statement to how well concealed permit holders do a fine job of blending in and not drawing attention to themselves. How many "concealed" handguns can you remember seeing out in public before you started looking for them?
  21. Here you go: click here.
  22. Welcome from just up the road in the Nipper's Corner area!
  23. I'd probably start here with the 5.11 stuff. I really like their men's stuff (picked mine up at Hero Gear).
  24. Because of the different demographics and size of the Harding WM, they never have as big a selection.
  25. The Super WM on Nolensville Rd., just south of OHB.
