I don't mean this to be disrespectful, but I really think these private folks in look-alike patrol cars who lead funerals through urban traffic need to be reigned in, too. It's like they're on some rambo drive, holding the horn/siren down, flashing lights, etc. They are NOT as important as ambulances and patrol cars and fire trucks, and the more they do that, the more people are going to wonder what sort of authority they really have.

Shot 20 of the rounds today, and the only thing that got blown up was some bright orange clays, so that was a relief.

In an encounter like that, I'm not going to try to make a point about my rights. Instead, I'm going to be respectful and do what I can to de-escalate the encounter. It's never failed yet, and I don't see the point of making the stop some sort of constitutional convention, especially if it involves attorney's fees on my part.

One option, if you go a little smaller and are okay with a slower draw, is a rear pocket holster. I carry my Rohrbaugh like that all the time. You can always do that with a Kahr PM9. I live just north of you and would be glad to show you some options.

So this probably wouldn't be the right time to tell you that we spent 7 hours shooting outside today?
