  1. I know that FMJ and primers are like hen's teeth everywhere, but did Reloader's Bench have any cast bullets?  Thanks.
  2. Passed 7-1, goes to the Calendar committee, presumably for scheduling for a full Senate vote.

I was at Nashville Armory today, and was surprised to see that they had 4 or 5 in stock, different variants... they had the "base" gun at $695 (I think)... I actually almost bought it, but didn't.
  4. From what I've read in TCA, they can bar you from using the restroom, (trespassing), but they can't charge you.
  5. You guys aren't gonna believe this, but TN Code Annotated:   39-17-105.  Charge for use of public toilet facility prohibited.   (a) It is an offense for a person maintaining toilet facilities available to the public to impose a charge for the use of the facility.  Each toilet facility maintained in violation of this section constitutes a separate offense. (c) An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor.
  6. I'm still on the first set of batteries after about 9 months or so, but I don't use the light much. It's LED, so it should be easy on the batteries.  The beam is good... not as clean as a Surefre, but definitely good enough... there's a very nice, clean center circle of light.
  7. I have one on my .300BLK.  It's a pretty durn good light.  It's a plastic housing, but seems very, very sturdy, and the mount is very solid.     DanO
  8. It's cool, Maroon, cases like this have a lot details that are easy to miss, and if, like you initially thought, the robbery victim had drawn his gun and chased the robber down, then it would indeed been a tough case for self defense.
  9. From what I'm reading, he didn't chase after the guy to shoot him, he followed him to get his property back and/or get a good description for law enforcement.  He had every right to do so.  The thief didn't like being followed, so he attacked the HCP holder with lethal force.  It might not have been the smartests course of action, but the HCP holder is 100% in the right.  His self defense claim was based on the second attack, not the initial robbery, which was indeed over and no longer presented a threat.
  10. I would think they would be IDPA legal, as they are of the traditional "notch and post" type.
  11. I can think of about 6 million dis-armed "data points" in 1940s Central Europe that might skew their findings a little.   :bored:
  12. Glad to hear you're gonna be okay, and you"ve given us some excellent advice.  Be careful with spent primers too, the lead styphanate is very, very easily absorbed through the skin.
  13. ---- If there is any question about that – please take a tour of the factory. You’ll be amazed at what you see.   Hmm, they have factory tours?  Roadtrip possibilty!
  14. Interview stance.... or just stop showering.
  15. Looks like you might need a cheek pad... the sight is sitting pretty high, and most shotgun stocks are shaped to get your eye down very close to the bore.
  16. It happens on tubes with indexing nuts.  (That looks like a Yankee Hill tube if I'm not mistaken.) Back the whole thing off a few turns, re-index the rails, then snug the index nut.
  17. It's a lousy cellphone picture, but here's my P7M8...
  18. I'm more of a fan a shorter sentences in prisons very, very different from what we have today.
  19. Well, if you're trying to kill somebody, he's pretty much dead on!
  20. Looks like I'm finally going to shoot a USPSA match with the revolver... looking forward to the embarrasment!
  21. If shooting supressed, the bolt gun is going to be noticably quieter.  The Hog Hunter or new Mossberg MVP Patrol is on my short list... I'll probably buy the first on I can find first.   DanO
