The "target on a stick" thing is damn clever.

If it's used, they probably got it relatively cheap, you might do a little bit better, but that's actually not a bad price for that gun.  The big S&W revolvers are bringing very good money, but the market for them is slow.  Try $700 OTD.  If they got into the gun "right", they will still be making money at that price, they might take it. 

If either one of them have CZ's single set trigger, prepare to be amazed.  :up:

They actually aren't extensions, but complete grips made by Hogue called (seriously) "Big Butt" grips.   I don't think they are listed on the Hogue site anymore, but several vendors still have them.

Well, I have a dead battery, I won't make franklin in time, and don't want to hold anyone up. I'll turn the battery charger on and catch up with you in bell buckle.

I have a Microtech OTF... I think it's the Ultratech.  Incredibly well built, and an action like a Swiss watch.  Kinda big though, and I wouldn't trust any OTF for really rugged use.   I think I'm going to get one of the little UTX-70s to carry.

I'm in.  Where I'll meet you guys depends on the morning weather.   If it's all clear, I'll head up to Franklin and ride down with you.  If a morning storm pops up I'll just meet you in Bell Buckle.

Heck of a lot more hand-fitting and skilled labor on the revo production lines than the autos.... S&W only has so many people that still know how to put the wheelguns together. 

It's just something I had floating around the parts bin, so I thought I'd give it a try.  I actually don't think I like it, I'll probably end up using some sort of short vertical grip like the one on the TP9. 

It really just illustrates how dumb the 4" blade limit was in the first place... as though a 4" blade is somehow not an effective weapon if someone decides to use it as such. 

Sorry for the delay, had to work late and then it took me awhile to gather up all the parts where I had them stashed for the last 5 months. Anyway, everything went together perfectly, and I snapped a few quick and dirty phone pics this morning.

I practice (a little, not much) shooting out to 25 yards or even further... not so much because I expect to have an engagement at that distance, but because it improves my shooting abilities at shorter distances.  Fundamentals of marksmanship are tested more at longer ranges, therefore training at said ranges is a great diagnostic and teaching aid.   If I can hit a torso at 25 yards, I can hit a head at 7, or an eye 3.  :2cents:

Both of my "usual" carry guns are single stacks (P7M8, Delta Elite).   I'm too fat for IWB.  I just carry OWB and own a whole bunch of thin button-up shirts that have never been buttoned.   :up:

You're probably right, Fourtyfive.  $550 for a milled gun is probably a safe bet, even if it does need a little tweaking. 

I'd be very wary of buying a Century-built gun without shooting it first.  From what I can determine they contract out assembly to a few different firms... some are good and build decent guns, some are apparently drunken monkeys and build garbage. 

Kel-Tec.   Neither are "top-tier" quality guns, but the Kel-Tec guns do usually work.  Llamas have a terrible reputation for reliability.   Also, if the P11 doesn't work Kel-Tec will fix it.  Their customer service is excellent.  Good luck finding a Llama CS rep. 

It's a cartridge, not a gun.  The most popular pistols chambered in it are the MAS 1935 A and S models.  Both of which haven't been made or imported in quite some time. 

Make sure it isn't .32 French Long... unless you like having guns you can hardly find brass, let alone loaded ammo for.
